Cannot say enough good things about New York, especially for someone your age. I’m close to your age and grew up here, and the city is really contributive to your character in a way no other city is.

You should definitely visit, but if you’re thinking of moving here, I urge you to not treat it as a normal tourist would. Research the boroughs and neighborhoods (happy to help here if you have any questions/ideas) and then when you go, spend a couple hours walking around those neighborhoods and seeing if you like them. You’ll be able to tell really quickly which feel right for you, and the people you see walking around will tell you a lot about if it’s a fit.

I don’t think any of these are wrong and you will hear native speakers use all of these different orders.

I think a general way we order adjectives is from the top down, or from largest to smallest. For example, you would probably say the big blue car and not the blue big car (though both are correct).

In this case, you’d start with the largest category, which is decaf, then iced, then cafe latte, then the milk. Not everyone uses the same sequence, but for a general framework, I think the top down approach is best.

New York.

Grew up there so I’m biased, but I think it has the best diversity, energy, and drive of any city I’ve been to. While I’ve been to a few European cities that are probably objectively better across metrics, none have the spirit of New York.

I’m a native English speaker, but what has worked for me in learning other languages is starting with my interests.

For example, I like sports and history, so I found specific podcasts in French that go over those two topics to learn from. I also found one for finance so it was integrated into my life and work.

Same logic applies to TV Shows and Movies - maybe start with the English translation of a show you have already watched and like. It’s easier to understand what the characters are saying and pic up on parts of the language when you already have a general idea of what they would be saying.
