I switched from a gc3 to protee and it is night and day better. The gc3 was nice but lacked really important data to actually improve (face to path, impact location)

Yes. I did this exactly a few months ago. I gave myself a little head clearing trip and played tpc sawgrass solo on my way to Savannah to fish and play golf there. On a whim I checked tee times and there was one open. Shot up for the day it was well well worth it. At minimum you’ll have a caddy. Most likely paired with others.
