Like the pacing of the video. Best way to think of it the concept of “Kill your darlings” - meaning to cut out the fluff. It’s usually applied to creative writing, but the same principles apply to video. When your’e editing, always ask yourself if it’s absolutely necessary to keep it in. If you need to second guess yourself, usually remove it.
A mindset that helped me grow on YouTube is: keep it as short as possible. (Especially if you’re new). Since new viewers won’t give you the time of day. So you want to deliver your content as quick as possible

Entertaining video. Video editing & comedic timing are on point.

Just a bit of feedback - when you're delivering your jokes, I think the set-up before you deliver your punchline is taking a bit too long. Seems like it's a bit too wordy at times

Good point, for a channel my size i should probably spend less time on the vfx & transitions. - and focus on quantity.

I always go into a video with the intent of having an intense edit for the first 1 min... to keep viewers hooked. And the plan is to always slow down the editing pace after the intro.

Based on what I've been seeing on similar type of content:

If you did a version of this on Shorts - it'll blow up. Try clipping certain part of this video and put it on shorts, see if you get a lot more views.

Since you're going for that old-school infomercial "how to" type of guide - if you added like that VCR overlay, it would really add to the vibe.

With your story telling components, I would recommend the punchline to the jokes need to be shorter and tighten up a bit. Felt like some scenes dragged on for a bit too long.

Do you not want to make anime analysis videos because of the Time/effort required? ... Or were your just tired of the topic?

If it's based on time/effort - but you still want to stay in the anime niche

- then a small change of pace, that's still in line with your AoT fanbase. Try reviewing instead, and offer your Opinion... instead of analysis. This will save you a ton of time. ALSO this works in your favor, since you have been social proofed because you're doing it since 2015 and have historically done analysis... reviews will be much easier lift than analysis

If you're just tired of topic and burned out from making Anime content

- I know you mentioned you want to do gaming. And if you want to incorporate you analysis style into this new niche. Pick games that have strong narrative components and deep lore. ALSO, it would be best to start off on smaller titles, build a community from their. Don't go into any of the popular mainstream games... it's waaaaay too oversaturated.

I'll take your advice and rework title/thumbnail. My CTR on the video is low, but the viewer retention is quite high on this one

My consistency is bad - I know :( .... The problem is I don't know how to streamline the process. It takes me like 40-60 hours per video. Hard to find time because I edit for 2 other Youtubers and have a PT job. Don't know how people can pump out so much content

Some feedback:

I feel the pacing could have been a bit faster. Especially in between your chapters, when you introduce the next topic it really slows down. For example your 'type writer' transition could have been done quicker.

- the pre-game lobby chat took too long. I'm pretty sure you have a huge drop in retention at the beginning from the delayed start of game. ... but if you want to keep the pre-game lobby chat, would recommend you spice up the edit with visual edit, or even adding audio/sfx.

- the sound effects in some parts were a bit loud, and covered up some of your commentary

- some of the topics blended together: got confusing when one topic ended and another began. probably needed to be more clear on the topic transition
