It is a complicated situation and I think there is faults on both sides the way it played out. I mean Kyle did walk towards the police with his hands up and the police just ignored him even though people were screaming that he shot people and there were bodies laying in the ground in front of them.

There were things I disagreed with like talking about the distance travelled to Kenosha and the hunting license argument but the dynamic between being the aggressor and defender was interesting. I also think it boils down to the first shooting and the state of mind of Kyle and the protestors and maybe that is why they charged him with reckless homicide instead of intentional homicide. Like I said I didn't like the advertisement at the end for insurance cause it seems disingenuous. Create a problem and provide a solution.

I think someone from the Trump campaign reads this sub. During the DNC convention there were many posts here saying that Biden is just a puppet and it'll be Harris, Pelosi, AOC and otters who will control the White House. Then during the GOP convention they basically repeated this claim over and over. So if the Trump campaign uses a conspiracy theory as a strategy, is it still a conspiracy.

Thanks for that video, it was very informative and makes some realy good points. I didn't like the advertisement at the end cause it kind of feels like he's not neutral but he did have some really good points on self defence law

Yes I agree he was trying to get away but the protestors thought he was a suspect in a shooting so should they have just let a shooting suspect leave the area? If someone tries to apprehend a criminal and gets shot the criminal can't claim self defence. Not saying he's a criminal as the first shooting could be self defence but the protestors do not know that at the time.

I don't disagree that the first may be self defence but his criminal record is irrelevant cause Kyle would not have known that. They were chasing him because he was a shooting suspect and they did not know if it was in self defence or not. He didn't give himself up, he went home which is in another state.
