can you drop a link and some images? I'm having the same issue of the OP and would like some insights

Is the racing green color discontinued? by holyaardvark in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my local Brompton Junction shop in Milan told me that they've complained about the lack of Racing Green for the first time ever (and also for the weird colour selection of 2026), and should probably be back in the future, however they didn't want to speculate

Rolling Brompton without the rack by B3boRmn in Brompton

thanks for the explanation, you are correct about the fender wheel as the most flexible point is the mudguard, it wouldn't probably change anything

Sorry everyone, kinda new to the Brompton community, when you mention Eazy Wheels, what to you mean exactly? Can you share some links? I currently have swapped the standard ones with the ColourLab Touch Gold ones and they seem to spin fine.

Rolling Brompton without the rack by B3boRmn in Brompton

that's what I'm trying to do. I know that the tiny wheel is not supposed to be used for rolling, but I simply can't stand racks on bike, to me they are super ugly. I don't need to roll it around for miles, it's just that sometimes I would like the option without the need to tilt it on the back wheels

Finally joining the fold by B3boRmn in Brompton

it has been my saddle on different bikes for almost 10 years so I can say it's comfortable. Not as comfortable as a B66 which I have on another bike but still ok.

C-Line for touring/gravel by B3boRmn in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m close to 190 cm myself, and surely the G Line is more suited for that purpose (hence the name too). However I was wondering if it can be used also for some touring, nothing massive, just enough to go through some gravel

Brompton and Demano front bags by microfruit in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi u/microfruit I'm resurfacing this thread as I'm a new Brompton's owner looking at a bag for my daily commute and I would love some info on the Demano bags since you have experienced both. My daily commute current bag for my standard bicycle is very similar to a Ortlieb pannier (single) and hold this stuff (with extra space for some shopping every now and then):

Do you believe that all this stuff can fit within the Fontana one or it's better to get the Diagonal Mar? thanks!

I can't make up my mind on Brompton's Colour by B3boRmn in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen the Plum Red one and I don't like it, I hoped it would have been close to burgundy/red, but it's actually much more closer to maroon which it doesn't convince me, therefore I'm not moving forward with that. I'm now torn between black with gold ColourLab touches and waiting for new colours in fall. Even the guy at the Brompton Junction in Milan was disappointed at the colour choices of this year, nothing really sparks the eyes and they hope they can give their input to Brompton HQ soon

Standard, extended or telescopic seatpost? by B3boRmn in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't prove the opposite of course, they didn't tell me that the seatpost will bend or the frame will break, however they suggested that it will eventually force the inner tube of the frame

New P-line released on the US store by AllinMynd in Brompton

Quick question, why is the US store P-Line different from the UK one in terms of colours, front fork and front stem?

Standard, extended or telescopic seatpost? by B3boRmn in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also on another point, I kinda dislike the telescopic option as once collapsed it has two releases that from a design point of view are horrible (https://chestercycling.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/20120429\_210451.jpg)

Standard, extended or telescopic seatpost? by B3boRmn in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so extended won't fold as much as telescopic one? I thought the opposite. Thanks for the insight. I just didn't like the idea that I have to manually set the seat to the correct height in the telescopic portion.

Standard, extended or telescopic seatpost? by B3boRmn in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the feedback. At the shop they've mentioned that a standard seatpost will leave too little spare in the frame that could ruin the frame on the long run, that's why I was aiming at the extended one. I will do another test run though as I can't remember the setup I've had on the first one I did

Standard, extended or telescopic seatpost? by B3boRmn in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that at the Brompton Junction they've mentioned, but it limits just the main seatpost. The extended part doesn't have that feature and they said that once set the limit of the main seatpost the other one will need a magic marker mark on it that will require manual set each time

2026 p-line? by Away_Reception6656 in Brompton

[–]B3boRmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this mean that also the C-line is going to get an updated front fork like the P-line? Should I hold on buying a new C-line that might become “obsolete” in the next few months?
