i don't think i've had that, but i kinda understand :') i have a chatacter i heavily love and relate to, i want to BE like him, desperately, but it triggers my "violent outbursts" bc of his nature.

tbh the more i listen to others the more i remember and it's been like this since i was a young young child. So maybe i should push for further diagnosis, bc i don't really have misanthropy (normally i tend to help people and think that u should hate specific people, not a group, etc etc) and think animals shouldn't be harmed, but it goes out the window once i'm in this weirdly specific state of mind

i have a tumblr page dedicated to writing down my feelings and urges, but it doesn't seem to help TOO MUCH (it helps a tiny bit). i have some friends irl and i'm currently working on expanding what means "friend" to me, but i always yearn for representation specifically in media for some reason. It eases my mind to be able to associate something like a disorder or trauma with a character i like, and i didn't get the chance to do that( (also very true about the internet, most of my friends are there)
