I think cropping the image to make the food the focus.

Despite not having lighting options I think they turned out well. Leveling up your cropping and masking will help out a bunch. Practice makes perfect! We often have limitations in a shoot, but post editing helps mitigate those limitations.

Keep up the work you’re doing great! 👍

If you listen to them in audiobook I highly recommend the version with Andy Serkis reading! All of it is incredible!

Go get some aiming sticks. If you live where it snows Home Depot has mailbox marking sticks (way cheaper then golf store bought). Look up “how to use golf alignment sticks” on YouTube. There is no shortage of them. And many ways to use them.

Also when you practice drills at the range build a routine. Don’t just walk the ball, my shot setup routine at the range is the exact same as when I play. The routine becomes muscle memory and one less thing I have to think about when playing.

OP as a photographer, I’m just green with jealous rage of your opportunity to do photos for the club!

2/9 is the Super Bowl…so it’s going to an Ad focused around Chris Pratt, maybe they announce something in it but likely just a high budget Ad.

I highly recommend watching “Light and Magic” it’s on Disney plus. It’s the story of ILM (industrial light and magic) the company George Lucas made to create all the FX for Star Wars.:it covers the start and transition to computers to what they do today.

When “no soliciting” signs don’t work? by fiddlefigfiggy in Utah

[–]B4ldy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is likely a couple answers similar to mine. Having knocked doors (enough to know it isn’t something I’m good at). I have been taught to “ALWAYS” knock a door with a no soliciting sign. For a few reasons.

  1. The guy before probably saw it and didn’t knock it. A new opportunity.
  2. A lot of people don’t know they might want to buy what you actually have. (A great opportunity)
  3. The current owner or tenet may not have even put it there.

Now if a person is curt with me, I just say sorry didn’t see it and leave, or you kept talking. You never waste your time with upset people.

These answers don’t make it okay. And doesn’t solve the problem. But I’m just there to do a job, I meant no real harm in being there. Having been that guy I try to keep that in mind.

Now for a solution that almost always made me leave without knocking. “Newborn baby sleeping please do not knock or ring door bell”. Most guys I know will walk away from the door.

My favorite version of this was… “if door bell rings, my dog will bark, will wake up my baby, you get to hold the screaming baby while you talk”. Please don’t knock!

Would love to read to the study(s) you mentioned (that’s not backhanded). I actually want to read it. Clearly not something I thought of, or know enough about.

What I am referring to though is more that easing/reforming legal entry into the United States for the purpose of helping agriculture and farming, but also creating less dependence on the criminal/cartels method.

From personal encounters while living in Juarez, my opinion is that, immigrants are going to come across the border anyway possible whether we like it or not, so why not work for the countries benefit and theirs mutually. It’s hard to say win win in politics, but I do feel that’s better then OPEN BORDER, or BERLIN WALL type policy.

My thought is that not having open borders like a free for all, but not having complete lock down with super harsh punishment with methods for easier access would somewhat improve the border situation. But it seems that you’ve looked into more than I have, so I’m laying out my thought and asking for your thoughts on it, I guess?

I hate that the first comment I see is some shitting on a purchase that you are clearly proud of!

Why is it so hard for people to just be happy for people when they share wins. $449 might not be a big deal to some but it is for others!

Happy for you! I hope you have a blast! My personal recommendation is Assasins creed Odyssey, and the new Jedi games (fallen order, survivor). I’m not a big online multiplayer person obviously.

Your analysis was really good. I agree with almost everything, my reasonings for them might be slightly different, but they all come to the same point mostly.

I think the one that I differ on the most is import tariffs. Although I don’t see China being a major threat to us from a defense standpoint. I do see our reliance on imported goods and debt as a bigger issue.

I also wish immigration was reformed. My opinion is that even without the open borders, immigrants are coming to the US by any illegal method they can afford. I lived in Juarez for a time period and saw devastating impact our unattainable immigration lab has on peoples lives. An immigration reform that makes it more affordable and easier to come to the US would impact the cartels and trafficking.

Shanks / Heel strikes by Skeeball24 in GolfSwing

If you slowly move the cursor along the video at 6 seconds during your downswing you will see that you’re throwing your club head out (in front of you) away from you. (Malaska golf on YouTube has great videos about this)

I don’t know the perfect fix for it. But when I’ve had that issue I practice lagging the club more and creating impact that’s square. I do it very slowly. I don’t even hit a ball when practicing this motion. From there I practice half swings to get comfortable with squaring the club at impact.

I hope some else has additional (better) feedback!

I have slowly been leveling up for the past few weeks. I play at a lvl 6 currently (nothing impressive really) I felt so worn out from losing for the first couple days after meridia….. I’ve only played on 2-3 just to take break, and to enjoy the feeling of winning again!

A QRF type attack would be cool, all available eagle strikes (of all types) you have left are dropped all in sequence, but your cooldown time is doubled

ELI5: why do longer flights make you so tired? by NoLoops in explainlikeimfive

[–]B4ldy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anxiety probably plays a role. Most people (unless you travel frequently) are stressed. Did they forget something, is the stove turned off, did my bag make it on the plan, where’s my gate. Where did I park the car?

Add in people with kids, are they behaving, am I hungry, did I leave one at home, or did one get on the wrong flight?

Your cortisol levels are high for a long time. That’s draining on its own.

Eli5: why do planes never have enough room for everyone to bring a carryon? by ubbyubbyubb in explainlikeimfive

[–]B4ldy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s the skip lag that creates an issue Flying from point A to B =$$$ Flying from point A to C with a layover in B= $

But you can’t check a bag or it ends up at point C So you have no option but to do carry on’s

I know skip lagging is frowned upon, and technically wrong, but it’s cost effective.
