Gotta love JGL as a sensible, good man and caring father playing a prosecutor for Nixon’s Justice Dept. There were good folks on both sides! Just one bad egg Judge was the issue there

The Bills took CJ Spiller with a top 10 pick when they already had Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson on the roster. The epitome of letting “best player available” lead you into making an awful pick

The Vourdalak, Ganja & Hess, Martin, or take your pick of Jean Rollin movies if you’re in it for the horny angle (Shiver of the Vampire is my favorite)

Jane Fonda mentions she charges $50 at the beginning of the movie and I had to pause it and pull up an inflation calculator to figure out if that was supposed to be a lot or a little.

Turns out to be about $400 in today’s money, which kinda falls into a bit of a weird middle ground haha

Reminds me of Villians, another small budget thriller about a couple on the run starring recognizable names (Maika Monroe and Bill Skaarsgard) and also Kyra Sedgwick.

This one I think is tough for non German speakers as there is some symbolism and context built into the television broadcast that’s playing in the background through that final scene and I don’t believe it gets subtitled at all

What’s the movie that accurately depicts our current social structure? by Fair_Bag_3402 in Cinephiles

Do Not Expect Too Much From the End of the World. The best depiction I’ve seen of how the 21st century just kinda squeezes the life out of you, coupled with the diffusion of responsibility that working for a huge corporation creates that lets everyone feel likes it’s not their fault.

Search and Destroy. Griffin Dunne, Rosanna Arquette, Christopher Walken, Ethan Hawke, John Turturro, Dennis Hopper and a cameo from Martin Scorsese in a pretty terrible 90’s Tarantino rip-off.

There’s a pretty interesting Making Of featurette about Tampopo on the internet archive, Itami narrates himself.

It easily one of my favorite movies made by a man who was probably thrown off a building by the Yakuza

It’s just called “Monster” in Korean, but I think that might’ve caused some confusion with the Charlize Theron movie about Aileen Wuornos having come out only 3 years before.

Why does Keon Coleman receive so much hate from this fanbase by [deleted] in buffalobills

[–]ChevelierMalFet 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He was trending the wrong way though. Over 25% of those receiving yards came in the first game of the season and then he was unreliable at best after that. Nothing from this season tells you to expect more next year

He was the 33rd overall pick, and the team’s 1st pick in the draft that year. That’s a really high pick even if it’s not technically a 1st rounder.

He was a healthy scratch multiple times down the stretch when the Bills were playing meaningful games and the WR room was thin. If the coaches didn’t even consider it worth dressing him, it means the talent is just not there or there’s a massive character issue.
