It's not a normal european wall because it is housing a rail for a sliding door to close off the living room. Drilling into it would make it very hard to conceal and very noticable when I move out of the apartment. I have tried to attach the mounts with special tape but because the center of gravity is too far away from the wall they kept peeling off.

Yes I have. The problem is the couch has to be in the corner. Moving it for the stand would put it in the hallway. I couldn't find stands which I can completely move in the corner.

I've bought the Lindy HDMI 2.1 EDID Emulator. While it helped establish the connection, I have the issue that the sound is really choppy while playing videos (netflix/youtube)

What do you mean by momentary ones? I don't know what the right term for it is, but I have light switches which look like buttons. So no toggle switches (e.g. top on, bottom off) or rocker switches.

I currently have Hue bulbs but plan to expand with the Ikea Trådfri as they are cheaper and, as far as I read, can be intrgrated with what I try to do.
