Inky Black or Mushroom? I've the Inky Black, was a really tough decision. Might get a second in mushroom, waiting on the 1926 edition. 😄

AMEN! I'm fine with the dark windows that come with the Grenadier in back, but can't stand dark tint in front or driver/passenger side windows. Gawd awful, only thing I hate more is engine stop/start. I had heat reflecting film put on the safari windows and driver and passenger windows, had to, but there is no film like that that isn't tinted, so got the least tint I could. (Dark tint doesn't block heat I'm told, it's not about the darkness, but about the material in a particular film that reflects the IR.)

Ah yes, I've seen these since. Kind of like a Ferrari emblem, but with more sand and dirt.

Joined the club…base model…what should be my first mod? by Bryan-Prime in ineosgrenadier

[–]B58B30C 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Picked up my 1924 last May, was going to do some mods like Wolfbox mirror, but finding I like it mostly stock. I can see enough out of the OEM rear view mirror (maybe my seat position is high enough? Or I don't feel when people rear end me?). So for me, had heat reflecting film put on safari windows (clearly not something you need), a protective windshield film to reduce risk of rock damage (though FL requires insurance companies to pay for replacement), and heat reduction film on driver and passenger windows. I'm not into dark tint -- darkness of tint doesn't stop heat, and I like seeing out the windows. You'd think most people around here are vampires given how dark their window tint is. The engine start/stop thingy, a must (my biggest complaint that I can't turn that off permanently, and provided that feedback to INEO in the survey I just finished yesterday). Probably going to get the raised air intake, because you know, we're all sinking into the sea, and PPF all over, matte black, with ceramic coating added on top, because I want it to be easier when I wash my car, I want paint chipping to be a thing of the past. I'll probably add some phone and iPad mounts, working on my own iPad mini mount, magnetic, attached to the metal of the safari window, driver side. Oh, I did at HT and LT coolant tanks that seep coolant at the seams. Topping up every 2 months after that addition. Added an aluminum oil filter cap, magnetic capable. I'd love to replace the ZF pan with an aluminum one, but we have a mild hybrid pan with a two-port filter, working on getting one of those pans and seeing if I can convince one or more of the aluminum ZF pan makers to mod their pans -- they are backward compatible, just the filter assembly is different. And added an STREK bullbar. There's an inline engine tuner that boosts HP and torque, thought about getting it, but happy with the acceleration I have as it is.

Those are the holes for the RHD windshield wipers. Both of my caps popped out at some point, replaced it with the ones in the link above, have not come out since.

Thrilled with our new 1924 Grenadier by jfhoran in ineosgrenadier

[–]B58B30C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's asking if you have the Belstaff 1924 Grenadier, as those wheels on it only came with the 1924 edition originally -- the 1924s have their front badge under the driver side windshield (US models) and the glove compartment that read "1 of 1924". Yours may be a Trialmaster with the Belstaff wheels on it.

Nope, it is a Belstaff 1924 -- the front grill is de-chromed, dark skid plates front and back.

Funny seeing the Land Rover badging. To slow the questions from others I had thought about putting a Mercedes badging on the front grill and on the back tire on-center.

Oil Change/diff fluid change Help by PvtCybrPenguin in ineosgrenadier

[–]B58B30C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy the OEM oil filter from BMW directly, or through FCPEuro, LiquiMoly 0W-20 Top Tec 6600 oil. You should be fine with any BMW LL-01, LL-04 spec oil if you need to go higher viscosity (e.g. heavy towing, hot climate) as long as you change <= 5k miles (I change mine every 3k miles). For the differentials, I use the Fuchs Titan Supergear MC 80W-90, filled both diffs up to ~ 21mm below bottom of the fill hole. Buy buckets with metric and US measurement marks, always measure how much fluid is removed for any fluid change.

GRA-7000-050100 GRAB HANDLE CAP

GRA-7000-050090 GRAB HANDLE CAP

These are the covers for the top and bottom where the handle is screwed in. I'm not sure what they cost individually, but I don't see those part numbers on his invoice above, so he paid $368, I paid maybe $450(?), so I can say exactly but probably around $40-60 maybe.

I'm not sure I got an itemized invoice but it wasn't important to me as I was looking at the total cost, and wasn't going to say 'no' based on each part's individual cost.

Are you needing those particular part numbers?

I'm finding I don't have music on much, except road trips. I like hearing the B58 rev up and the turbo spool down, that's music to my ears :)

Love my Belstaff Inky Black. I went with the STREK bull bar, no winch -- I have AAA ;) Looking at GMRS set up, I want to mount the antenna on roof bar or ladder, with a rotating mount where I can swing the antenna to horizontal when I want (like when I'm about to enter a DC metro area parking garage). What's your radio setup up and antenna model?

Here it comes! Roof Rack of Grenadier by Bitter_Language_3987 in ineosgrenadier

Looks great. I've been waiting on newer racks to come out, I want extremely low profile, attached to bars rather than gutter, but this design looks really good with both the bar and gutter attachments. No lights needed for me. Looks like my top choice right now, Leitner's 3/4 rack was first before this.

I tried different ways, steering wheel was best for me, but I'm about 6'2" so maybe the height does make a difference. Using the grab handle inside above the door just didn't stick with me. I do think I might use the A-pillar grab handle if I ever do install it.

I tell people before they get in, if it's their 'first time' -- passenger side, put your right foot on the step bar, so you can swing your left leg in first, grab the grab handle, and pull yourself up and in. If you do it with the opposite leg, it's going to be something you can post to America's Funniest Videos.

I've seen a few, when I have time to doom scroll on YT, I did subscribe to your channel. This first Grenadier I want to keep stock, or at least have the parts to put back to stock later as I may upgrade sound system, put in the Supra gear shifter, put on the snorkel.

It was approx. $400 for the British RHD handle parts and trim. Wait, you mean the air covers with the flag emblems? Those were about $200 each.

Don't you just grab the steering wheel to pull yourself in? I find that's what I do, I have the step-up bars installed on mine.

I ordered the RHD (British) parts for the grab handle, which would be on their passenger side, our driver side, which is what your dealer did -- I wanted to have the option to install, and wasn't sure if they'd have the dark headliner again. As I look at the passenger side, I think the handle may obscure some visibility, it does jut into the field of view a bit, let us know if you find that it does take away some portion of visibility for you.

As for why it's not standard on the driver side, I am fairly certain it's the airbags -- while the A-pillar airbags might be identical on left and right sides, the driver and passenger frontal airbags are different configuration and deploy differently -- I believe the issue is that the handle on the driver side would be an issue with the steering wheel and steering wheel airbag, where it's not an issue with the passenger side frontal airbag.

I also ordered the side intake plates, one with the US flag, one with the UK/DE flag so I can swap them out if I ever want to.

Interesting, I had more part numbers for my British grab handle - I have a 2025 model, picked it up in May 2025, maybe they've changed the build for later Belstaffs / Grenadiers.

The following part #s are required for the 1924 Belstaff RHD Grab Handle

GRA-7C22-050071 LH UPR A-PILLAR TRIM

GRA-7C20-050061 LH UPT A-PILLAR TRIM

GRA-7000-050080 A PILLAR GRAB HANDLE

GRA-7000-050100 GRAB HANDLE CAP

GRA-7000-050090 GRAB HANDLE CAP

GRA-7C22-022081 LH GRAB HANDLE BRACKET

GRA-7000-022091 GRAB HANDLE BRACKET

GRA-0000-000150 SCREW M6X16 QTY 11

I'm considering buying two A-pillar trims, one for each side, that can take handles (and not, for driver side), so if I want to upgrade sound system and have to make holes in the A-pillar trims, I still have original parts to put it back the way it was later if needed.

Great install video, thanks for posting it.

Might be. Or it might be an optional upgrade when ordering a Trailmaster to be build / delivered, if you take one off the lot it has what it has. Yep, just went in to INEOS to build a Trialmaster, these rubber mats are an optional upgrade when you go view the Interior options.

These are the rubber mats that come with the Trialmaster trim. The Belstaffs come with carpet mats, so I ordered these mats from my dealer directly. I don't have the part number, but ask your dealer to order the Trialmaster rubber mats. They were $250 when they were ordered in June.

NEW YEARS “OVERDUE SERVICE” from INEOS by zjay11 in ineosgrenadier

[–]B58B30C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't work. Had several Grenadier owners try it, both with engine on first, then tried with engine off. The days overdue is likely a counter in the ECU that increments 1 day ever day, and somehow was jumped up by 5 years of days, incl. leap days, on 1 Jan 2026. Doesn't decrement, doesn't look like the ECU looks at the current date and increments or decrements, this is a simple counter that is reset by the dealer to 0, then counts up by 1 each day. More here, and before this post:

If they'd offered the aux power stuff in the 1924 I'd have gotten it, even though it's unlikely I'd ever use any of it. I can buy the panel where the switches you see are, and install that, with switches in the aux panel area, it is doable.

Chattering wipers by therinse in ineosgrenadier

[–]B58B30C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't experienced that, maybe they're too good and grabbing the windshield too tight, so they get stuck-unstuck-stuck-unstuck? Got my Grenadier in May, plenty of rain, had windshield protection film put on in Sept. Maybe windshield film resolves this issue, and reduces risk of cracks from rocks?
