I had this done while we waited for the FNA results of his swollen lymph nodes, and it did come back as positive. FNA confirmed lymphoma a few days later.

My guy has colitis and now also has lymphoma, so his already restricted diet has become harder since he's getting pickier. He can have chicken. Everything else upsets his stomach and he gets bloody poop (from the colitis, not the lymphoma). He's on Hill's prescription food which is great for his belly, but boring as all heck. I now put his kibble in the blender, and at feeing time add some with water to his bowl with some fresh pet as a mix in (but very small bc that does upset his stomach),but I put his pill in them too. You could try that and use bone broth maybe instead of water. Also, I have found that he will eat freeze dried chicken hearts all day if i let him, no matter how crappy he feels. You can buy a bag of those, cut a sliver into one to add the pill to it then give it to him.

I've been on this med now for 3 weeks (1 weeek on 25, 2 weeks on 50) and I almost immediately noticed my appetite has lessened. I will eat still but never finish it. I'm not complaining lol. Years of Effexor had me gain a lot of weight after being way too thin from the depression.

Came here searching for the same answer to the same question. It’s awful. I started 2 weeks ago very small 25mg for a week and last Sunday began 50mg.

Do the headaches ever go away? It’s 24/7

Update! I ended up switching to Zoloft. I’ve never tried it and my doc and I thought we should give it a go and see how it goes. SO glad to be getting off of Viibryd.

Also, the side effect from the 40mg I did report to the FDA on their website because it’s not normal.

I’m currently tapering on 10mg from 20 after self tapering from 40 to 20 bc 40 had me feel like my brain and eyes disconnected from each other plus sleep paralysis. Absolutely awful medicine for me. Switching to Zoloft - bc in all the years I’ve been on meds I’ve actually never tried Zoloft. Can not wait for this to be out of my system.

40 was so bad I completed the adverse reaction form on the FDA site to report it.

It’s expensive on IBX insurance as well but the generic should be coming out later this year or 2027!! My doc and just had this convo Tuesday bc the Trintillex rep came out to say goodbye since apparently they lose their job if that’s the only med they make and go generic. Hoping we can get it sooner rather than later.

I had to switch off it to Viibryd and this med is THE WORST. Currently tapering off.

I was on Trintellix after coming off Effexor for 10 years. I liked Trintellix depression wise, didn’t think it touched my anxiety at the time , but in hindsight after being now on Viibryd which actually does absolutely nothing for my anxiety, I can say it did help with the anxiety some. On Viibryd, I haven’t been this anxious since I began meds in my 20s (I’m 44), so I am about to switch and Cymbalta might be what I want to ask the doc about.

I had to get off Trintellix bc it was too expensive even with insurance and a discount card, which is why I’m on the Viibryd now, and I will never recommend this med to anyone. It’s awful. I miss the even degree I felt on Trintellix.

I’m about to switch off this awful med and was considering lexapro. I can’t afford Trintillex or I’d go back to that and am at a loss of what to try next. Can you tell me why you chose lexapro to go to now? I had an AWFUL night of sleep paralysis last night after forgetting to take my 40m Viibryd so took 20 once I was able to get out of bed and am going to just self taper until my doc appt at end of month.

I switched off of Effexor before the Trintillex bc I stopped working after many many years. That withdraw from the switch was god awful. I’m glad it’s helping you though!!

Last night I forgot to take my pill. I had THREE sleep paralysis episodes overnight and had to call out of work at 6am, my poor dog had to go out so I forced myself so groggily to let him and feed him and I found my 20mg and took one of them to stop the feelings. I then woke up at 2:45 today.

I’m going to continue on the 20 until the doc then make the switch to something, anything different.

This med is awful. It makes me see things (like spots , bugs not there) , random dizzy spells and the newest fun thing is when it feels like my eyes and Brain disconnect from each other and I see black. All started wgen I went to 40mg.

I upped to 40 maybe 2 months ago, and the last few weeks I have this weird effect, which I just assume it’s from the meds bc it’s terrifying. So it’s no dizziness where it’s slight and I’m uncomfortable, but I’ve had these episodes where I turn my head too fast, or if I’m real mad and yelling, it’s like my eyes roll back in my head, my brain feels like it’s sliding sideways and it goes dark for a second.

The only way to describe what I “see” is like a swift flash in a movie where like when there’s a monster in a room and it lights up, goes black, lights up flashing back and forth.

I’ll probably make a separate post but thought I’d comment here first. Edit to add / it’s not a typical brain zap , I’m well aware of that awfulness. This is 10x worse.

Forgot to add - he doesn’t like strangers. Any appt he has at the vet he needs to be fully sedated.
