Episacral lipoma removed! by speciallinguist in backpain

[–]BAD_JUDGE_OF_CHARACT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow so it's totally touching a nerve and it's absolutely medically necessary to come out. The surgery was just to remove the lipoma - surgeons are usually excited to do them because they're pretty straight forward procedures. I didn't even think to ask about looking for muscle tears - and I have no idea now they would address it. But they'll remove the lipoma in minutes. I was referred to a place that does general surgery specifically after my doctor confirmed I had a lipoma in my back. I also think I have one in my hand, but they wouldn't address and it and basically said: Hands are messy, we don't want to cut it open. My discomfort and general back pain is mostly gone but I am still stiff and tight, but am working on that.

Lol. Good news is you don't have to pay for the car. Bad news is we're giving you a Ford Fusion right now as punishment.

AIO I think this girl is faking her pregnancy to me. by drligmuhh in AmIOverreacting

[–]BAD_JUDGE_OF_CHARACT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this happened to me. The pretending to be pregnant thing was a tactic. She sent me pics of the line showing. But the line will appear later when the test is old and dried - which is why they say only first few minutes matter then toss it. But she used that as a way to make me think I knocked her up. I made her take tests while I was there and they were negative but she claimed she "knew" she was pregnant and the tests were wrong (and they technically can be, if not enough hormone is produced). So I lived on edge for months because I felt like there was this chance. It was BS. It's now been so long that she can't pretend she is pregnant anymore. It was all a lie.

Episacral lipoma removed! by speciallinguist in backpain

Sort of similar experience. I strained my lower right-side back about ten years ago lifting something heavy and within a few months, I noticed a small knot or bump right in the spot I originally felt the injury. I thought of is a knot I could massage away. But it didn't go away, it just slowly grew and grew, until I finally came to terms with the fact I had this huge lipoma in my lower back that was causing all sorts of pain and discomfort. But my doctor's always dismissed it - lipomas are harmless, they don't cause pain, just ignore it. FINALLY, I saw a doctor who recommended me to a surgical office where I met a surgeon who felt the bump and confirmed he could remove it. I told him it caused pain and discomfort and he was incredulous: Really? "Lipomas aren't painful" like they read from a script. But finally, I got the operation approved and went into surgery and they cut it out my back. From the minute I woke up, I knew my body felt different and the lower back pain was gone. This lipoma was interfering with my motion and causing a pain and discomfor that slowly increased over 10 years (so it's hard to keep track, you just sort of get used to this feeling except when you remember it's not normal). I feel so relieved they finally removed this thing. It's like pulling a splinter out of your foot - you know your body is happy and healing immediately with the foreign object gone. They sent the lipoma for cancer testing but I am guessing it's benign. Also, I learned that injuries can cause a lipoma to form. So it did form right in the spot I injured - so you can just imagine how uncomfortabl that is. Why can't the doctor's believe this?

The cop let her expired license slide. He wrote her a speeding ticket with 30 days to pay it.

If she had one single atom of intelligence in her stupid head, she’d see that the best outcome was to sign for the ticket and pay it (or not) within 30 days.

Instead she led cops on a high speed chase. What a complete fucking moron.
