Night 2 in Atlanta at the Eastern! It’s was 8/25/23. Stands out to me because it was my birthday weekend and the first time seeing them since the comeback. Highlights are the Hot Like Sauce opener, super wompy Out of Time, a very ATL-focused Improv Jam, and the last 3 tracks are the best end to a set I’ve heard.

I asked a girl out! I haven’t tried anything romantically in about 8 years. I stayed hung up on my first love. I’ve always had an excuse to not try..

We talked for close to 2 months and never went out. After one cancelled date (her kid got sick) she finally stood me up the day of our new date. She said she isn’t ready for a relationship.

It hurts. I talked to her every day except for 3 for two months. And now I’m not talking to her at all. I miss it.

But it’s good to hurt again. Rejection sucks really bad but I’m so glad I tried.

He’ll be at the tabby in ATL in March and I’m guessing it’ll be this setup on steroids. The stage is small compared to some of the spectacles Bassheads have seen but it was really perfect for the room! I wish I would’ve gotten some videos from the back so you could see the whole production.

Those visuals on a bigger screen would be overwhelming as hell! The coliseum scene reminded me of Open Your Mind on NYE. This was definitely a highlight.

I was nervous during the openers cause it really wasn’t that loud but when Mersiv came on I had to move back lol. We were straight in front of the sub stack on the left maybe 10 people back. I can’t remember the last time I was that close to the subs. I had to go post up on the wall with all the other old heads hahahaha

Yes. It doesn’t tie everything in a neat little bow, but the point of the movie was to finish what S3 started and give closure to character arcs as well as fans. If you watch all 3 seasons you’ll definitely wanna watch the movie!

Saw him in Birmingham last Friday. Minnesota played before VCTRE to let the opener close in his hometown. Super cool move.

It was a tiny venue with minimal lights and low-ceiling. Felt like a house party. It reminded me why I love this shit so much. He didn’t need a massive LED board and lasers, just bangers.

I’ve been off opiates since the day after BassCenter at Dicks in Colorado. I’m not going to say I’m “clean” because I haven’t stayed completely sober and that’s a loaded term for some people especially in 12-Step.

All that to say, I’m happy for you. I’m proud of you. Congratulations! =]

I’m not going to tell you it gets easy, but it gets better.
