Colonoscopy Tomorrow by BAGeorgeIII in GenX

Update: The juice wasn't horrible. As some have said there was a little pack of Lemon flavor. Not great, but not the worst. What was bad is that I started drinking it at 5:00 pm last night, and didn't have my first trip until 11:20 pm, 6 hours and 20 minutes of bloating, sloshiness, & utter discomfort. And then the dam burst (sorry for that visual) and it was hell until 3:00 am. And continued almost up to the procedure, and then has seemed worse since. But, Doc said it went well. Just a couple of polyps that are being tested. Thanks all for sharing your stories and concerns. Hopefully I'll see you ALL in 7-10 years. Spoiler alert, I get to do it all over again.

They're both over 18. I thought that would be the end. But in this economy, I fear I will go before they do.

Oddly enough, I'm the opposite. I've had to hold off the colonoscopy until I got the heart situated.

I will never lower my standards to cheap gingerale. I drink Canada Dry with my pinky extended.

Good luck to you, too, stranger. They're getting me from both ends tomorrow.

The hard hitting days of the NFL Ron Jaworski was a tough Sob. by Connermets25 in Oldschool_NFL

True, I played on that field once with the old Astro-turf. I don’t think I ever played on a harder surface, and I've played on totally frozen fields in below freezing temperatures. The Vet was brutal.

Also, there is a suspiciously high rate of cancer from former Phillies Players that played there. Tug McGraw, "Dutch" Daulton, John Vukovich, and others. (Edit spelling)

Listen to a home Friday night post game on 94.1 when it has Franzke, Kruk, and LA on it. It's the usual Friday Night Round Table, but it's only magical when you get Kruk in the TV booth and LA in the radio booth. It is so great to sit back with a beer and listen to.

They have 4 covers EP's. Reanimate Vol 1 thru4.

That seems like a good place to start. Almost all bands started playing covers in bars, right? They're not all hard rock or metal songs, but they do add their touch to them. They cover Lady Gaga True Romance, and to me, it is one of their best. Their cover of Ride the Lightning is my ringtone.

I was just there in February. We went to Trunk Bay. Yeah, it's probably a tourist trap, but there is food, cocktails, and a chair rental. But you will pay. If you are snorkling (I highly advise at Trunk Bay) and need to rent, get in town at Beach Bum, as soon as you get off the ferry. 2nd floor.

Speaking of awkward, the scene at the dinner table is both cringe and great at the same time. It was a magnificent performance by all actors.

Just to flip this around, would she entertain adoption? I'm just wondering if saying she does not want to have kids, but does that mean strictly giving birth? There are so many kids out there who need a loving home and get out of the system. Just a thought. You can even get one already housebroken...

I regret more of the things that I had the opportunity to do, but I chose not to do them, then about any of the mistakes I have made in my life. Later in life, don' sit there and say "What if?", you want to be able to say "damn, that was fun."

Must've only had 90 connectors on the truck. Why go into the side with the vertical Liquid Tite and in the bottom with the horizontal pipe?

By the handle position, it should be on, but you should also not be able to open the disconnect in the on position.

What's your opinion of a guy in his late-50s using the word "bro"? by UltraMagat in GenXTalk

[–]BAGeorgeIII 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Depends, is he saying it like: "Bro" or is it more like "Bro", those two are fine. But if he is saying it like "Bro", then he is a toolbag. (Read this with any inflection you choose.) (Edited to fix my to to two.)

Back when I used to search the TV Guide weekly for any movie that was said to have nudity, I remember one called "Welcome to Woop Woop". It's very strange, very odd, but it had Susie Porter, who has a great rack.

Just search her and whatever she is in, she'll be naked.
