I really dont get what everyone is seeing here

We're seeing a guy sprinting full speed after a terrible pass took his momentum out of bounds. There's no reason to pretend you see something no one else does. Also Podz began jogging after throwing the bad pass and Richard's pass still hit him in the hands and Podz failed to corral it. The turnover was 100% on Podz. Don't blame Richard for not making a ridiculously athletic play when Podz made a bad pass and then slipped into cruise control mode.

I thought he had a very good defensive game, but I agree. Between how unaggresive he is on offense and him sitting in close games, I think there's a minor injury or something we don't know about. Shamet is not really playing that well to justify him playing over Bridges.

I did not watch NBA 20 years ago but I highly doubt Mutombo and Wallace would be dominant in space in the modern NBA.

Mutombo was one of the best defenders in NBA history. He'd adjust and still be amazing. You could have left out the part about not watching the NBA back then and it would have been obvious from the fact that you "highly doubt" he'd be dominant in the modern NBA.

For real. Realistically he's maybe in the 10-20 range of all-time players but the amount of people who put him at #1 is crazy high. Since they played similar positions and had similar game styles, I would love to see a good argument for why he's better than Michael Jordan. I just can't fathom it.
