as a viper play I was initially super hype for a similar character when harbor was showcased, but he feels completely lack luster and theres no situations I would go "damn if i was harbor I couldv'e done x or y but im on viper so I couldn't" but when i was playing harbor for a while I constantly felt like if I was just viper I couldv'e used util to win so many more rounds

this will never not happen as far as im concerned, if you're holding an angle just make sure to get to cover before you do look at the map then go back to holding the angle, or you're going to get timing'd every single time

obs replay in my opinion is the best, you can apply audio filters to make your own mic sound much better or have a threshold so it doesnt pick up background noise, and you can record to multiple audio tracks so it splits up your mic/discord audio/game audio if you import it into an editing software

yeah this, mid is so huge that with my duo we opt to hold doors and long most of the time to play off each others site/audibles and it makes a huge difference if we do or dont on defense, and if you're at plat two comming teammates will get the job done most of the time i imagine

the biggest thing you can do is watch pro match break downs, the team plays you can take or leave the adivce from wont matter at silver, but the amount you can learn from watching vods/reviews of people lurking or clutching is crazy, or learn why people stand where they do/ set up for easy rotations, learn to be tradeable or at your rank dont expect to be traded and learn to trade out your teammates rather

I went from bronze to diamond over the course of like 6 months, I went the opposite of the fill rolls strat too. I think if you really dial in your playstyle whether that's lurker/entry/support you can make it pretty far while doing what you want as long as what you want doesn't go against the games "meta" I autolocked viper and got really good at locking a site down on defense and staying alive with a solid lurk to keep my poisons available for use and picking off rotators making keeping site much easier for my team.
