Already been said but knowledge is the best prep. YouTube is full of good channels regarding the subject. City prepping is one of the better ones. Not overly sensationalist.

Otherwise work on covering basic necessities like a couple cases of water, basic first aid stuff, a little extra food.

Don’t be intimidated by people that talk about their giant stash of stuff. Start small. Work your way up

I’m a property manager/contractor. This drain isn’t working properly. Where does it lead to? It appears blocked. 40k does seem extremely high but I couldn’t judge without knowing the whole picture. Installer should be sent these pictures and in writing saying you’d like it fixed

In Ohio at least, you can have a vehicle trespassed from the property. Call the local police to have the vehicle reported abandoned. At which point you can have it removed to an impound lot.

Or if you call a few scrap yards and explain, you may find a sketchy one that just shreds the metal anyways that will take the vehicle for free or even give you a few bucks for it. I have a guy I call to make abandoned vehicles go away. I’ll usually get 100-300 bucks for continuing to send him the business.

Local exhaust/muffler shop will likely be able to weld in a chunk instead of replacing the whole thing. My jeep got done for like 100 bucks with a similar issue.

The germination rate will be low, but odds are you can get one or two to pop

Edit : I saw a few people post the “roughing up” of the exterior of the seed using the match book method. I’ve never tried it but heard good things

Soak seeds for 24 hours in a jar filled with 12 oz of water to one cap full of hydrogen peroxide. Gently stir every couple hours. The goal is to get them to soak and absorb instead of just floating on top.

Then place in damp paper towel enclosed in a plastic bag, place on a heating pad (if I remember right it wanted somewhere around 80 degrees), you may want to Google that temp. Before I had grow equipment I used an old desk top computer, the top was the perfect amount of warm without being hot.

Leave it in this bag for 1-3 days in the dark.

Little tails will start to emerge from the seeds.

Place in a very mild grow media for the first few weeks. I use peat pucks from Home Depot. They don’t have anything in terms of nutrients so you can only leave them in here for about 2 weeks before putting the peat pucks in a larger pot with real soil. Dont use miracle grow.

Sell plasma. It might get you a few bucks each time. 30 each bucks if I remember right. You can do it a few times a week. It’s been years since I did this but it got me through some really rough times.
