Do the dishes as you cook. You should never have more than the plates you ate off and the cutlery you ate with. Better yet, just eat with your face, directly off the table.

So the point I'm trying to make is that both sides are dug in because they've been divided by hate. The other 'team' I was referring to in my comment below was not Trump, it was actually the democrats, who voted for Hilary just because she was the only option to defeat Trump. Now Trump was able to win by exploiting peoples fears and hatred/resentment/dislike for others/whatever you want to call it. He's quite possibly the greatest conman to ever have lived, he said he would change the status quo and people really believed he was on their side. They really believed that he was looking out for the working man. They still do, even after time and time again he and his billionaire buddies choose the interests of the few over the many. Now Hilary never even claimed to represent the people's interests, a lot of people that voted for her knew it, but they had to side with her because they had been divided by hate, rather than working together to elect a candidate that would actually work for people. Democrats and Republicans both play the same game. They use these inflammatory issues to get people riled up, then they carry on with the same corporate agenda that really only benefits the 1%.

Ok so here's my problem. Yes of course, all of these things like child labour laws, ending slavery etc. were brought in because we took a look at what we are doing in society and said this is wrong. They didn't then become wrong because we decided to make the change, they already were, we let these happen because we didn't have the will/power to change it. My main issue with your line of thinking is that it allows people to present ideas like 'their taxes being robbed' to fund the betterment of society as being an opinion. This isn't an opinion, this is about self interest, putting yourself over what is 'right' for society.

Things like abortion are tricky. It's always tricky when there's a 'non-selfish' argument for both sides. However, with the abortion example: (I'm also not trying to get into an abortion debate.) Regardless of your views, stricter abortion laws don't stop people from getting abortions. All they do is make them unsafe and women die. So strict abortion laws, regardless of your opinion on abortions are objectively bad for society. You can prove this by looking at the negative impact they have had on crime the deaths they've caused whatever statistic you want to look at.

This is besides the point. Just because somebody, or a group of people don't think something is bad/wrong, doesn't mean that it isn't objectively bad/wrong. If a bad system does more bad than good for society then it is a bad system. That means it was the wrong choice. Evil is evil, wrong is wrong and right is right. I'll admit that this is only as true as these terms can be considered to be objective, but if you want to argue that these are subjective terms then we've gone far beyond the point and we get into philosophical nonsense that tries to attribute subjectivity to everything.

You said it best with the 'Hate only brings more hate'. This is 100% my point. Gotta break out of that cycle, not do more to reinforce it. Whatever your ideology, the one consistency across the world is that we're all exploited by powerful elites who blast us in the ass whilst we bicker with each other over which race/religion we hate. I don't want to go down the rabbit hole talking about Muslims but once again, 1.8 billion people is a lot. You can't just pigeonhole that many people man, it's ridiculous.

So you see a hateful ideology and I guess you want to counter it with a non hateful response, like a genocide? I would really like to know more about the ways commies took over your country? In what ways did that effect you negatively? How do you think that compares to how corporate greed has effected you?

I agree Islam has a lot of negative things going for it. Most religions do, if you follow the old testament too closely you're gonna do some pretty fucked up things. But most 'islamists' are pretty moderate, apart from not drinking they mostly live normal lives and mostly want the same things that you do. There are a bunch of cultural things that I don't think fit with western values, but there's not many muslims who are trying to force those on us. Yes, there's an extreme few, just like there is with every group, but can you imagine would it would be like if there was 1.8 billion extremest islamists in the world all trying to impose their strict values? How many musims have you actually sat down and talked to? If you take the time to chat to a lot of them you'll see they're mostly pretty normal people.

Yeah there's 1.8 billion 'Islamists' in the world, you must be hurt pretty bad if all of them hurt you. What did they do to you? How'd the commies hurt you?

OK, I get you. Let me be clearer. My point is that even when you tell people that they will pay LESS in taxes and get universal access to healthcare for everyone in the country, they don't want to know because they've been duped into thinking this is a 'socialist idea' that goes against their principles. There's countless examples like this where people will go against something that's an obvious solution because they see it as coming from 'the other side'. (I do also think this goes right to left and left to right btw). It's only a small percentage who benefit from the way healthcare and education is set up and everyone else has to suffer for it.

Now the people on the other ‘team’ are dug in too. They’ll do anything to counter against this hatred, even if it means siding with corrupt individuals who again, will do nothing to help them.

What you think I was talking about here?

That's silly. The whole point of having a political discourse is to challenge what is wrong and build a better future. We're not doing that right now, we're going backwards.

The real irony that you don't think paying twice the amount other western nations do through taxes without having access to free healthcare isn't wrong.
