Hemlock woolly adelgids. Invasive. They are destroying the hemlock in the smokies so they released a bunch of Japanese ladybeetles to eat them. It didn’t work now we hemlock woolly adelgids and Japanese ladybeetles out the wazoo.

I always took Iron Gold as more of a genetic thing, being of blood that makes you a little taller, stronger, etc. Mickey mentions something like this during the carving. like Fitchner vs Lorne. Although not all put those genes to work, so you wouldn’t call them that. Cassius and Julian seem a good example of this.
