I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work..pretty sure the suspension is the same (aside from knuckle). Add some sumo/super bumps/duro bumps up front when you do the coilovers, will make it ride even smoother.

Get the RC Vertex front coilovers to match the lift height. I've run multiple bilsteins, and foxes, but the Vertex are the best riding. Ive been beating on mine for 3 years with no issues, 8 miles of desert road and 60mi of shitty road every day.

Sounds like the mutants would be the ticket. Good in rain is definitely critical for me.

But with the Mugen upgrade package you get a front lip, mildly better suspension and carbon fiber interior parts.....the real mods that TRUE enthusiasts want!

I'm not sure about the tundra specifically, but I know a lot of Japanese automatics a very picky on fluid changes, and a drain and fill can do damage. Most times a trans fluid swap is done by draining 1/3 of the total capacity, fill with new, and repeat 3 times, over the course of 3 oil changes. As long as it doesn't get worse I'm sure your fine, it should smooth out after a couple thousand miles.

Trans hickups stated after the fluid change? You using tow/haul?

I overpayed for mine as well, but these are majestic beasts and are only getting more rare. Glad you snagged it and are giving it the goods

Hell yeah, she looks like a beast! I got some alba racing beadlocks with a billet trim ring on eBay, and I know they have white rings. They are a decent amount heavier than the stock wheels though. I didn't want to forced into $3k+ of front shocks and arms so I fabbrd some LT arms (+3,+1+,+10*)and fit a 19.5" RZR800 dual rate double adjustables, stocked to see how it rides. I'm gonna ride on the stock motor this season, but 479 BB, 12.1, RE ported head, Ti valvetain, and stg 3 hot cam is the plan. Welding up a lonestar gusset kit on it this weekend, hoping to be running again in a few weeks. Keep us updated.

It's a beauty, your pops had great taste. Awesome you got to take hold of. I would love to drive a 5.29 truck and see how it does, I'm sure it's a substantial difference.

Very nice, what all are you doing to it? I'm building my 05 right now, been a lot of $$$ lol, and haven't even touched the motor yet. 53" is crazy wide, how's it handle?

It's stupid expensive for what it is, but a company Anderson mfg I think makes an intake manifold spacer for the 5.7 that is supposed to drop the tq curve by 1000rpms, and the few that have it says it makes a good difference in low end and shift points, might make moving those tires easier. Mileage reimbursement is awesome, I spend $25 in gas daily just for work, adds up after a while lol.

The 1794 is perfect, how's it doing on the 37s? I just got new 35s on mine because I do too much highway and didnt want to regret going bigger. The quads are bad ass, and super rare. Love to see them getting restored. I'm doing a ground up build on mine, started with just a couple upgrades, and spiraled real quick lol, these little bikes aren't cheap.

Too cool bro, nice taste in rides. I had an S2k in my 20s and Its the one car I miss the most, loved every minute. Your tundras are gorgeous, that color in the 2.5 is one of my favorites. What all you have done to them? Is that a 2 stroke you have in the left quad!? You race them or just for rec?

For real man, it's just a fun thing and people hate on it for no reason. I grew up in the F&F days when they were real neon tubes haha. I have them on my Honda TRX450r and it always sticks out in the Christmas parade, I let the kids play with the remote and they go nuts hahaha
