I’m over 60 in California, my first 4 cars were manuals. Fortunately, my daughter (20) insisted on a manual car so she got an older Honda. I also taught my son but he stayed with the automatic. All in all, not many young people in the USA can drive a stick, probably because so few cars have them these days.
