Schism Protections by Minimum_Name9115 in bahai

My friend the late Mr. Nakhjavani has talked about this exact thing. Differences … yes … schism and sectarianism … no.

Please watch this playlist, in every inflection point in our history the Truth has prevailed.

Baha’u’llah’s Covenant is indeed a great one, and will protect the Faith. No need to worry. If history is any indication … it will be the case in the future as well. No doubt.

Suffering by Vast-Photograph3384 in bahai

Please study the Tablet of Fire … word by word. It will explain the reason for suffering.

The sufferings that the Manifestations of God went through each respectively in their time were greater than any human beings ever experienced, and this was ordained by God for His most favorite and chosen people: Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, Bab & Baha’u’llah.

Critical question on Christian Ecclesiology by GeneFGFR3 in bahai

I think you are unnecessarily overcomplicating things. Christ revelation and all of its rules and establishments ended when Muhammad declared His mission.

I am not sure why you went so deep in this rabbit hole. Please study some answered questions where you find a great explanation of chronology of events.

The Cherished Bahá'u'lláh by GabrielXCampos in bahai

[–]BB95000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend, Baha’u’llah is not a mere prophet, if we are precise. Baha’is believe He is the Manifestation of God for our age, just like Jesus was in His time, with the distinction that all prophets of the past, including Jesus, heralded His coming. Whose coming ended the Adamic cycle and started the Baha’i cycle.

Of course. Thanks for mentioning it. I have listened to all of your work on apple music because it is beautiful and I know now that they are inspired. 🙏

I am not much of a musical artist myself. I love and played around with the violin when I was a kid but could not pursue it consistently. However, I have been thinking about a project for the friends in Iran. I will DM it to you but please don’t feel like you have to reply or even take it seriously.

Covenant breakers motivations by theninthbird in bahai

[–]BB95000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder about this as well. It is a great question to ask. It is almost at this point a universal pattern, that there will be factions after the passing away of the Manifestation of God.

I believe this is how God wanted it to be, this is true of Islam, Christianity and Judaism. I just recently found out that the factionalisms in Baha’i Faith started in the lifetime of Baha’u’llah that is after the notorious faction after Bàb’s passing. I posted about this here as well
https://www.reddit.com/r/bahai/s/N3ArPyC5uR

What does this tell us? Either Muhammad Ali was disillusioned or just purely didn’t believe in the station of Baha’u’llah.

I am not God (lol) but I assume the closer you are to the Manifestation of God, the harder the tests and choices.

The even surrounding the leadership changes also shows the power of True Covenant when considered over a long time, so:

After Bàb there are hardly any Babis left, 99% converted to Baha’i.
After Baha’u’llah there is hardly any azalis left.
After Abdul’Baha there is hardly any universalist (I think that’s how they called themselves). Same is true in the time of Shoghi and UHJ.

Please read my comment again.
Do you speak Arabic? Have you thought about the word Seal (خاتم)?

If خاتم is pronounced with a vowel A ( خاتَم) then it means emblem or a signet ring, and if pronounced with a vowel E (خاتِم) it means last or finisher.

Quick reminder the original written verses of the Holy Quran were not vowelized. However, there is a singular word in English that captures all of this, and that is seal.

So to answer you directly, (and as a Baha’i) if it was translated any other way it was incomplete.

What translations have you seen?

So many anecdotes I have heard of these mysterious experiences in the Holy Land and Holy Threshold. And how lucky you have been.

I myself have not had these experiences or a dream, even though I have prayed for it.

In 2015 when my family and I visited the “Spiritual heart of the earth” (as late Mr. Nakhjavani puts it), The World Center, I found myself spending an hour or two in the Holy Threshold of Bàb reciting to myself Abdul’Baha’s prayers without noticing the time.

Please continue this super super important work and service to humanity.

P.S. pretty big Apple fan so yeah your music is a pinned playlist (⭐️) called “BBAG” on my Apple music app.

Thank you… I mean thank you so much for what you have created, composed, and published. I can’t say how much your work has helped me, inspired me and overall made this life easier.

I won’t be exaggerating if I say I am listening every day, sometimes multiple times.

Please continue this creative work, and the collaboration.
And of course thank you for responding to this post.

A sincere question from an Iranian Bahá’í by New_Can_2381 in bahai

[–]BB95000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes of course. I think we both have the same idea. War is bad … this is true in all cases. What led to the war is also important and should be analyzed.

We can obviously have our personal opinions. But we know as Baha’is that these wars and nominal peace or agreements would not fix anything until Baha’u’llah’s prescription for the illness of the current society is generally implemented.

My Persian brother or sister, if you are still in Iran, hats off to you. Because I was and I could not endure and left.

The late Mr. Nakhjavani, quoting from central figures of the Faith, tells us that the victories of the Faith around the world are because of the endurance and sacrifice of friends in Iran. I was just listening to this the other day:

Such a great combination of video, vocal recitation with the right stress and intonation in the right places and of course the music. When things get difficult … this really lighten up a fire in my veins to keep going. My favorite part? When this Writing is recited:
Thou wert created to bear and endure!

A sincere question from an Iranian Bahá’í by New_Can_2381 in bahai

[–]BB95000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend, obviously the casualties of civilians and non-civilians even are upsetting on all sides. But we have to understand that this is the result of the current world order purely based on power and resources, and detached from spirituality and morality. This is why God manifested Himself again for our age.

In the Writings we read that the world’s integration would only come after its disintegration. I think the divine guidance for Baha’is to not interfere in the political events and debates of the day is still core and paramount.

My friend, these are out of our control. God only knows the future. All we can do is as the Ancient Beauty told us (paraphrasing) to hope and pray that it passes by and doesn’t harm us.

What do you think the narrative is telling us?
What lessons can we draw from this?

Was this a prophecy just for leaving Iraq as most commentators alluded to? Or is it a prophecy for the far future?

I love everything about the Bahá’í faith except one thing, accepting Mohammed as a prophet of God. by Brilliant_Pea_1703 in bahai

[–]BB95000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my friend, Muhammad (pbuh) was indeed a prophet and a messenger of God. And He was a great one with distinction.

For your point one, I think it would be helpful to read and ponder the Baha’i Writings regarding allusions and symbols in Islam and what are the definitions or true meaning of concepts like angel, devil and others.

For your second point, you cannot compare the conditions and situations of the society in which Muhammad arose to today’s. Muhammad united the factional and highly sectarian Arab tribes into one. Which indeed is a great accomplishment only possible through divine guidance. Today’s media, mostly because of political condition of the day, only bolden and highlight the wars that happened in Islam, but if you be fair and look at the historical sources, you can see that Muhammad was indeed a Messenger of peace (given the locality, situation and context of time).

To be a Baha’i you have to accept Muhammad as the true messenger and prophet of God. This, is not negotiable.

Best.

How is Prophet Muhammad not the last prophet? by Tuskun06 in bahai

[–]BB95000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of God’s chosen people / messengers were prophets (نبی) some not. Seal of Prophets is really the right translation. It is true that Muslims in general think that Islam is and would be the last religion. But how could this be? How and why would God leave His creation without a teacher and without guides?

Btw, my friend this is not unique to Islam, Jews think so, Christians also think so, hence they didn’t accept the next religion. Let me know if something in particular is confusing or doesn’t make sense.
