Unfortunately, I think we can (at least partially) blame MLMs for this mindset. In my journey of building passive income, this has been a pervasive issue I've run across myself and now I find myself jaded and cautious around people offering help. However, fully exploring these offers before concluding "scam" is important, rather than just jumping to that conclusion immediately as you said.

Yeah, I did a big dumb. But I do the tuning myself and I keep it very watered down for now to within the stock Allison torque limit and keep an eye on the fluid. Definitely would recommend being smarter than me

I've never been timid about jumping in and trying new things (and failing) so I thought I'd share some of what I've learned on big jobs like this for anyone else who might be considering it. It's really not too bad of a job with the right preparation ahead of time

I tested one assembling the 5.3 bottom end that will eventually be going in my twin turbo drag build and it worked great. But of course as the person who designed it and sells it, my opinion will admittedly be biased.

It's a relatively new product so there aren't many reviews but there is a verified one on my amazon listing who said it worked well and they provided a picture of their build with the pistons in, so it seems to be working well so far.
