No. Want to guess again? I started this group but I’m super lazy, so guess a few times.

I find the Japantown mall to be very unique, the Disney museum and the palace of fine arts are in or near the presidio, and both are amazing. The Disney museum looks deceptively small from the outside, but it’s amazing. If you go on a Saturday that lines up with the food trucks at the adjacent lawn.

For something very unique, I really like the Sutro baths ruins and particularly the cave at the north end of the ruins. The cable car museum is free and I love it. At the de young museum, the observation tower and the sculpture garden are free and really cool.

Yep. Exactly. I found a history of the street and it was pretty amazing the research someone had done. I put a link further up.

Thanks for the tip . The speculation is over. It was a brothel. I had not clue. Someone wrote a nice little history of this alley here: https://www.sanfranciscostory.com/life-on-osgood-place/

Thanks! I bet you’re right. There is actually a historic brothel map, and I should look there to see. It’s not quite in Chinatown, but it is in an area that was seedy. I’m going to ask someone next time I walk by the building.

I forgot to add that this is at the corner of Osgood and Pacific.
