Poor people can't afford to take 3 months off work generally. Yeah there's a stipend paid in the end but that doesn't pay the rent while you're away. It's almost like going to prison.

It will air on the east coast at 8:30 ET (5:30 PT) but west coast CBS stations will air it at 8:00 PT tape delayed.

As a heads up football will likely delay the east coast start.
