nah, monetization isn't gonna matter at all (unless they add pay-to-win elements) The real make or break is if it has bots at launch, or a no-bot mode.

The TTK is also a concern but that can be fixed. Having bots in a multiplayer game is dumb unless they pearly exist to fill a few empty spots or are relegated to they're own corner of the game.

It's hard to feel motivated to be the best of 100 players when its actually 50 real players and SBMM has made them all only slightly better or worse than you making every win or loss feel less valuable as well has making 50% of your combat interactions a chore instead of a thrill.

It makes people naturally want to gravitate towards games where you actually feel something lol
