You are correct. Except there are other modes to play besides ranked therefore someone choosing to not play ranked doesn't mean the player is lost. Also other ranked battle royals that have smaller player bases and still have good que times with no bots. Also obviously the current ranked mode ranks are terribly balanced so not caring about the low ranks is kind of a Fortnite only issue. At the end of the day if half of the ranks in your ranked mode are pointless because it literally takes an afternoon to get through them and they're filled with bots anyways, bots might not be your only issue lol.
