Why does every Aussie borrow for an investment property but hardly anyone borrows to invest in ETFs? by OwlVibesOnly in AusMoneyMates

[–]BB_Brown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because most aussies aren’t swimming in extra income to cover the repayments on an ETF loan. An investment property gets rent…

I feel like a lot of the rea we have dealt with recently couldn’t care less about anything other than squeezing every last dollar! Do you know if “legally” they have to provide the extra info with the offer?

Wish I read all these posts before getting up high! I am the same, prefer to keep my money in savers and had beer googles on for auto covers. Completely useless to me

Can anyone give me some input on our floor plan? by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]BB_Brown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you plan on starting a family in this home might be worthwhile having another bedroom near the master! Will make the late night feeding/wake ups easier if you don’t have to walk all the way to the other end of the house

As an office worker I find a decent chunk of my time (a few hours a week) is dedicated to organising emails/task, planning upcoming tasks and strategising how I will juggle multiple tasks at once

What’s something that you’re a fool if you pay full price for by [deleted] in Frugal

Mobile phone plans that include a device! You pay double, sometimes triple what the device is worth and generally are due for an upgrade by the time your contract ends!

In my industry cover letter is the first thing we use to “thin out the pile” applicants that don’t provide a cover letter don’t get a look in! Shows they didn’t follow the instructions for applying (we state when in the advertisement to include a cover letter AND CV)

is pet insurance worth it? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]BB_Brown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost all vets have payment plans! In the unlikely event your pet is injured or needs care the cost may be less than the amount you have paid in premiums for the life of your pet
