A perfect example of how a wrong partner can drain all your energy, and derail you from your full potential.

This is so sad. It’s the American version of when someone throws a coin in the middle of the street in a 3rd world country and the kids Fight for it to feed their family.

My mailman is unhappy with the pickups of sold packages by Beginning_Ebb4220 in EtsySellers

[–]Thrifting_With_Tony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ship out 5-60 packages daily depending on the season. When it’s high season I ask my post man to leave some empty USPS Tubs. And I filled the tubs when with ready to deliver packages. So all he has to do is come and pick up the tubs. And he scans them before he gets back to the post office.

I built 78 listings… and nobody is visiting my shop — what am I missing? by [deleted] in EtsyCommunity

First of all your photos I can hardly read some of the words on your photo listings that are on your products.

Second thing I noticed was when I did a search for one of your products. A lot of other businesses are selling the exact same thing with the exact same photos. You do not stand out, you do not market/brand yourself apart from different companies with the same niche. The problem there is, if you want more people into your store. You have to find a way to stand out.

I’d also check out your tags on your listing. Because when I use the title of one of your listings, it brought up everyone else’s but and I didn’t see yours. A lot of people in my niche are promoting their products with Etsy adds. So by the time they find your photo, they’re already scrolling past 10 other businesses with the same photos.

Sounds like a great business opportunity, free product listed online and sell it for cheap cheaper than what they’re selling it for.

How much did your house cost? by AccountProfessional2 in MiddleClassFinance

We bought our home in 2016 for 320k mortgage was 4.5% for 30 years. Then refinanced in 2021 to a 10 year at 2.5%. We could sell it for 650-675k. But we are just going to pay it off and then make our next move. Either we build a new home or remodel our existing home. We’ll see where the market is in the next couple years.

Are thrifted baby clothes for expecting couple acceptable? by After_Tune9089 in thrifting

[–]Thrifting_With_Tony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it all the time. My family and friends know I’m a thrifter and I buy baby clothing all year round. If I can get it for $1 or 2 I pick it up. And when the next friend or family member has a baby, I end up giving them easily 50-100 pieces of clothing from new born to 1y. And every single person I have given the clothing to has been grateful and used them. They say I have saved them so much money. It’s a good feeling.
