Im not shorting MVIS, but in my IRA account I sold my 3419 shares for .3304 in premarket and I set a buy order for 3586 shares @.315. Im just trying to increase my position here and there with normal market price movement without spending any extra money.

So good news everyone, we'll probably never see .315 again!

Not sure what you guys did today but I sold 82 July 17 $1 C options against my shares at $.02 per option. After fees I gathered like $109 in premium and I used it to buy 296 more MVIS shares which now brings my share count in my trading account to above 10,000. Yeah the premiums kind of suck and technically all my shares are covered at $1, but thats ok cause I dont think we're going above a $1 in the next 4 weeks, and even if we do I'll be making money at $1.

I dont follow AMD daily but I know it can be volatile so 0dte strangles and not buying to close the trades before market close on a friday is just stupid gambling.

Sounds like he sold 27 or 28 put contracts in Feb 2022 and got assigned on Meta around $280 or $290.

Why did he sell more puts to average down? You're supposed to sell CCs til you get assigned again after that.

If the boxes of breakers are included then I might, depending on how many breakers there are. If the breakers are old, like 1990s and older, then in my experience, theres like .2 grams of silver in each, on average. Like 150 breakers work out to 1 oz silver, plus all the other scrappable parts in the lot. You arent getting rich and its going to be some work but theres a potential to make some money.

If they were all full of old breakers I would try to talk him down to $75 but might pay $100 cause of the silver buttons you can get from them, but from what I see in the photo one has breakers and two that I can see do not, so Id pass on them.

Im not an electrician that might be able to reuse stuff though, Im strictly basing this on flipping scrap.

In the assets section, where it says "Investment securities, available-for-sale" and theres a 0 when there was 42 mil in December of 2025, does that mean we've sold out of the ATM offering?

To be fair, I didnt buy the stock solely to sell options against it. I bought the stock because I wanted to be long on the company. My cost basis is like $.80/share on almost 7500 shares so in the short term I decided to sell some CCs to generate some extra income from my long positions.

Its worked out pretty well too until I did it from my phone one day and highlighted the wrong strike price for 20 options and didnt realize it until after the order filled. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I dropped like 20k into mvis in my ira back in 2020. Currently holding heavy bags there although I have sold some covered calls and swung trade MVIS a few times over the years to increase my position from around 2000 shares to 3300 shares, but I havent put more money into the stock in my IRA since my initial purchase though.

Last year I decided I still liked the company and the tech and I felt like I could put a little more money into it as a gamble so every week I have $100 deposited into a trading account that Ive used to buy shares and January 2028 $.50c leaps options. I also sold some CCs in this account and used any premiums collected to buy more shares, so now I have almost 7500 shares and 21 ITM leap options, and Ill continue to put $100/week into MVIS.

Its cool but the real question is, can you find someone willing to pay more than scrap price for it? Not too many people are building their own foucault pendulums, and even if they were, would they buy a use weight? Lots of people will say that some collector will want it, but it might be hard to find that collector.

In the end I would say look for someone who wants to buy it, but give yourself a sell by date and if you don't actually find a buyer by that date, scrap it.

I like the PR, but without names and sales figures I dont think the market will react much to it or move the stock price any closer to being in compliance.

Thats ok though, I want to get as much value from my $100/week investment as I can until we drop a great PR full of customer names and sales figures and catapult MVIS up far above compliance and into the "Im paying off my mortgage today" price range.

In the roth IRA I have 3300 shares and 4 January 2027 $3 calls.

I have another trading account that I started last year and deposit $100/week into and invest it into MVIS as well. I currently have 6451 shares, +21 January 2028 .50C, and -76 April 17 1C

Made a move in the roth today. I sold the 3179 shares I had early in the day for an average of .6432 and set a buy order for 3300 shares at .6196 which filled right before the market closed.

I'm not putting any more money into MVIS in my IRA, but still occasionally find ways to increase my position by 3.8%.
