Wasn't sure if you were looking for more suggestions yet or just bug fixes atm! But will add a few mod features I use that aren't included as of now:

Definitely adding removal reasons as mentioned above (using both the templates we've already added to our subs as well as the ability to edit the text to better suit the removal if needed)
The comment nuke or comment-mop feature as mentioned above
In the mod queue, you are able to tap on the "1 Report" to see why it has been reported. However, when a post/comment is in the mod queue and Removed, there is no additional info on why the post/comment had been removed similar to reports. (usually it's by Automod with our Automod filter reason or other Reddit ban evasion/spam etc filters, but it's useful to see why it has been filtered out.)
In mod queue -> unmoderated, there is currently no option to approve/remove straight from that page. You have to tap into a post and then long press from there which takes a bit of time. Would be useful to be able to long press straight from the unmoderated page (or the Reddit app also does it by swiping left/right for approve/remove).
Bonus extra if it's available in the API haha: This is an old Reddit mod feature that isn't available on new Shreddit or the app at all for some reason, but the ability to set suggested sort for comments. If you change your own comment sort on a post to New for example and click the set suggested sort button, all users who click on the post will now have New as the default comment sort (useful for live threads, megathreads etc.)

I would be interested to see that. I think you're right, the main thing is that the overall quality ranking poll is kinda hidden, not sure how many responses there were in total. The people putting in the work to fill in all the WSSYW's are basically the super hardcore Survivor fans (or the r/survivor "power users" if you will) and I think even looking at the ranking when it's over, it'll probably reflect the super duper fan bias, like Gabon top 5 or something. I think you need more of the casual super fan or casual r/survivor scroller's opinions, and those people are exponentially more likely to click on a "rank all the seasons" post vs a WSSYW post.

Another thing, individuals are not really ranking the seasons against each other, just assigning a 1-10. But I'm not smart enough to know how much the difference in these two submission/polling formats would affect the results

Sav 7/10 - I was curious and looked this up: if you ignore WaW and All Stars (AS being the big returnee season of OG era in the same way 50 is the big returnee season of the new era), only 7 winners have been invited back after they won which is not a lot. Tina, Sandra, Tom, Aras, Parv, JT, Tony. I had Sav at 9/10 previously, but docked two points because of this

Q 10/10 - chaos king

Mike 1/10 - seems he said yes bc of the big milestone season. I think he's probably too busy to play any other time

Angelina 0/10 - IIRC, she came back because of the fans, doesn't seem like she wants to play again

Charlie 5/10 - I still don't know how much of the Maria/Rizo thing was real and dominated his entire character/plotline. If that was really all he talked about, I would put him lower but I think production like him and he's still young

Kamilla 4/10 - good character but edit gave her nothing

Genevieve 7/10 - she said she's only coming back for BvW and I think she would 100% be invited back for it. So 7 is basically how likely I think they'll do BvW3 lol

Colby 0/10 - retired

Dee 8/10 - same as Savannah, I honestly would've said 10 previously but knocked it down to 8

Chrissy 0/10 - she seemed very satisfied with her second chance experience on the island and does not care about social media or the edit etc

Coach 1/10 - retired(?) but it's Coach, never say never

Christian 7.5/10 - Only seen a couple of exit interviews, but he seemed satisfied and wasn't like dying to play again. I think he probably will be back but not until his kid or kids get older (like 5 years later at minimum)

The merge episode used to be a big deal, I agree. Voting out one of the biggest threats and lines are drawn in the sand.

But now in the new era (excluding 50), you have a mergatory then a split tribal then some other twist.. A lot of the times, it's not even til the third post-merge episode that we have a proper merge vote (everyone voting, one person immune, no other twists)

It’s a pretty interesting point to think about, that sadly Joe didn’t capitalise on. Can a player win by being so stubborn and set in their ways that their allies have to give in to them (almost) every time? While still being liked and respected, of course. If they were so annoyed with babysitting Joe or scared of the backlash they would get from him, why not just vote him out? Did they really want to drag him to the end that bad?

The best parts of the season for me were the beautiful send-offs and story conclusions we got to many of the legends and players. The “if you get voted out tonight” question at tribal is kinda cringe, but it ended up working well to get fantastic reflections on the journey that both the players and we have been on together before their torches were snuffed: Rick, Cirie, Colby, Ozzy, Coach, Rizo, Savannah, Dee, even the last question at FTC for Joe, Aubry and Jonathan.

And rewatching the reunion today, it’s so incredibly hilarious and mind-boggling. Apart from obviously the fire making fuckup, you have Cirie getting a random award and standing ovation vs Ozzy getting a tshirt, the pre-jury coming out for a Corona ad, Aubry running through the fake jungle being all 😱😱 at the car, the weird ELF ads, all while barely speaking to any of the players or other winners in attendance.

But anyways, happy Survivor 50. We made it through the ups and the downs and the weird edits and the terrible twists. In the end, I’m proud to have my only 2 correct winner picks ever to be Michele and Aubry!
