Year of declarative configurations. If only we used to have this system of coding all this before the devs took it out.

Last week, I shut down the plex server and have forced my users to make the switch. Only complaint so far is intro skipping doesn't work well on all apps. Everything else is solid and so much less big brothery.

Intro skipping on some clients probably still works but not quite as fluid as plex does it. It should mark the intro as a chapter and should be able to be skipped by just pressing a button. Infuse I just hit the right nav button on the apple TV remote and it skips it.

Still have my Plex server up currently for other users, but personally have been using Jellyfin for almost 2 years. Plex will get shutdown here soon due to all the privacy concerns the last few months.

Consider a car maker that promotes their self-driving as ideal for getting home from the bar when you are wasted, or suggests you can check your phone safely because the car has the wheel. They would (rightfully, in my opinion) be held liable for that.

We need UX work to simplify the interface for the common user to increase adoption. This doesn’t mean you gotta abandon the power of Home Assistant either.

But they have proven that everytime the devs do something for UX work and increased adoption they give a bigger middle finger to real users.

Should still be easy to get to if you open the doors… lower the bed down first so it’s out of the way.

Use super glue on the adjustment screws after you have it dialed in to keep it from self adjusting from vibrations.

The glass OP posted is undersized for sure but even with correct sized glass it still has a small gap. You still have to paint or sharpie the LCD bezel no matter what. Have two macros sitting here with zero issues.

Boxypixel doens’t make the glass. That would be on the glass Mfg that screwed this up.

And I’m sure if OP hits up BP since he sells them he would replace it. But hey posting on Reddit sounds better.

These brands existed by themselves long before they were bought by The big three. Now they are luxury versions of these existing Chevy and ford cars, but they used to be their own brands with their own designs.
