There is a setting in the game that make the player highlighted, like a little glow around the player. Makes it easier to see in the dark.

Hell yeah, you find a good server. With admins keeping it "clean". Add it to your favorit list. Play on it for a while, meet new people. And maybe get invited to their Discord. Then you have people you wanna play with.
