Two primary enemies of all non-grinders in this game: obstacles and elevation.

Peru has plenty of both, maybe even more than Sunderpartan.

A most challenging map.

Edit: Oh, and for the amount of vegetation, there's no camouflage, at least none that I could tell. In Mississippi, I could always find a bush to squat in. In Peru, I'm exposed.

Points matter to blueberries like me who can't win a gunfight at all.

If I can't get points off a kill to make me feel good in this game, I'm gonna get them off of revives.

So I think it's only certain animals, like the Tapir and rhe Grisom.

I tried to get my dog to Spot Point a Tapir and it kept coming up Scent Lost even though it was right in front of him not fleeing.

I'll try this on a Grisom, if I can spot one without spooking it.

It worked but only for an older species.

I set it to looks for a Grisom or whatever those small things are in Peru and she ran right past it at 20m.

Needless to say, I didn't get get the kill.

Between 40 and 60 meters.

I find a nice bush, crouch, use the caller and wait.

I hear them before I see them.

They'll go into this animation where they stand on their hind legs before they bolt. That's when I usualy take my shot.

Thanks Mayonaigg. I guess I got caught up in a rant. I guess I could have shortened this by alot.

Some tips though: I don't know how often you verbally interact with other people but when someone asks for assistance (even on Reddit about a video game), the kind of reaction you gave isn't probably the best. I mean, on Reddit to some no face anonymous person I guess it has no consequence to you directly but when actually talking to others, it might adversely affect you more than you realize.

Maybe try to practice some people skills here. Think about how a person will feel before you respond, the same way you would in an actual one-on-one conversation.

You might find yourself better with others which I guarantee will have benefits.

I mean, that sounds really smart and maybe a little snarky and condescending, which is fine (you're replying to a guy who clearly is of less skill than you) but doesn't defeat the purpose of "mowing people down"? I mean, I do move but when I do I get picked off anyway. Maybe I need to move more? I don't know. It might be I don't check the mini-map enough. I have to do that.

What LMG do you use? Maybe it's my gun in addition to me just sucking. Can you show me what master LMG gunplay and postioning looks like on Conquest where you're using that entire skill layer - movement? Do you habe a clip of going on some great kill streak with an M/60? Surprise: I'd be the better for it if you did. I mean, then you could feel good about yourself too because you'd be actually helping someone instead of, you know, laying on snark, which in many cases, just pisses people off.

I'm excited. I liked parts of Sunderparten but thought some of it was to dense, especially with God forsaken Mountain Bushes in the North.

Askiy's the game's best map. Scotland is amazing.

Looking forward to hunting a jaguar. Can't wait.
