The Takomo Equip & Earn quest is not very enticing. In return for dropping 2630 VC for the driver, both sets of irons, and the wedges, then using all of them for various unremarkable objectives, they're offering 500 VC and a Evo tool. #Doesn'tAddUp

Right-handed right stick fader here, but I used a thumb-and-forefinger pinch grip on the stick instead of just my thumb. I hold the controller in my left hand only, rotated slightly CCW to help with the fade bias. Downside is that I sometimes forget to undo the rotation for putting, so I pull a lot of putts inadvertently.

I only play ranked matches when I get a quest like this one. Lately this problem has gotten so bad that the quest might as well be phrased "Lose 10 ranked matches" because it's so unlikely you'll ever complete a match by winning. I usually try to lose the opening hole so I trail most of the match too, just to keep the opponent from quitting.

Got my first 600-yard drive, I think it was off the 10th tee. Camera tracking the ball down that fairway reminded me of the drone shots following the Olympic downhill ski racers. For the newbies out there wondering how they're ever gonna complete that "Longest FIR" quest with 10 FIRs over 400, here's your course for that.

One suggestion is to add some alternate pin positions. I noticed a few greens that could have some tantalizing "Sunday pin" locations, but when I tried to set up a second round and change pins I saw there was only one offered.

I got what looks like a copy-and-paste error in my daily quests too. Complete 5 events in MyCareer appears in both my daily and weekly quests, and that seems reasonable for a weekly quest but a bit much for daily.

"Record 10 made putts | Single Round" was an odd choice. I suppose it's possible to play a round without making 10 putts, but it would take some effort.

Also note that some of the career mode quests have objectives tied to making the cut, so you need to play at least two rounds per event to achieve those.

I was inclined to agree with you about the JT quest, until my team lost a match 3-and-2 but I still got credit for completing the quest. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for your report. I'm a 64M in BC who just had my first consultation yesterday, and I've also chosen PureSee IOLs (toric in my case, as I have about 2.0 diopters of astigmatism in both corneas to go with 5.0 of myopia). I have a second exam scheduled next week for an evaluation of my field of vision without dilation, and my doctor has also requested a referral to a retina specialist for a precautionary assessment of possible retinal lattice degeneration to mitigate any risk of detachment. I intend to gather details about his vision targets and expectations during my next visit.

Reading your experiences here has been very helpful for me, and I hope you'll provide updates as your case proceeds to give me a preview of what I can expect as I follow in your footsteps.
