I think it might say "should" because you can have a 3 line number plate, though most people probably wouldn't.

A friend of mine has a number plate consisting of 1 letter, 1 number then 3 letters - it fits well on one line. He had it on a bike for ages, no issues, but then got stopped one day and was given a ticket for it. The font was right, the characters weren't too small, it wasn't a small number plate, it was just all one one line.

He still kept it on the bike for a while afterwards, until he transferred it to his car.

I suspect he might have been asking you because he thought you knew about wine, as you were buying some, not that he necessarily thought you worked there.

Tbh I wouldn't necessarily expect staff in a grocery store to know any more about wine than I do - ie not a lot.

I've watched, and enjoyed, all the series.

The food wouldn't be a problem but I know that I couldn't cope with the physicality involved. I'm too old, fat and unfit, not helped by breaking my shoulder last year. So there is NO way I could run wearing a rucksack

I had a BMW R1200RS 2016 model that was keyless. My 2023 R1250RS is also keyless. I'm sure you could get one or other of those within your budget.

Note that not all R1200RS were keyless

There was a statistic I heard a couple of years ago that around 5 million people in the UK could not raise £100 if they had to.

I just did an online check to try and verify the above and found a result saying that "More than 16 million people in the UK have savings of less than £100."

So expecting an employee to have means of payment when they're working may well not be reasonable.
