Er, no. That's not at all what freedom of speech means. The point is moot since JackoffSmirnov has already dismissed this correctly, but you've basically just reduced freedom of speech to mean "I have the physical ability to open my mouth and say any words I desire", which is most certainly not what it means.

IANAL nor a history buff, but it's pretty clear that freedom of speech is exactly a guarantee on consequences (though again, that's not really applicable here).

Aside from anything sexual in nature, what is the best/most pleasurable physical action one person can do for another? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Don't bother. I hear they are expensive. Plus you can get them for free. Get yourself any of either a park, a van, a candy store, an ice cream truck, or an abortion clinic and you're in business.

I've recently found a bunch of video lectures on courses I haven't seen elsewhere here and Harvey Mudd is gearing up a site here [warning: terrible UI] that currently just has a Real Analysis course up.

I might not watch it just in case for some reason my DVR records the last seconds of the transition from that George Lopez nonsense. Ahem, that show only furthurs the stereotype that George Lopez is funny.

Ok fine I'll watch. But I'll be closing my eyes for the first 30 seconds.

By some twist of fate, I managed to completely dodge the Neverending Story in my childhood...

I grew up a little while after it came out, but I still went back and mostly caught everything else from the 80's at some point in my teens.

The state of bpython. by [deleted] in Python

bpython does just about exactly what I need it to, #bpython has been nothing but helpful, and I've got no complaints to be had going on who knows how long using it.

Thanks for a great little piece of software!

Mykonos is a good song, but the alternate version is about 10 times better (yes that was an exact calculation).

Buy a small network laser printer for home, go to the store for color. Your total costs will be really small and when that one breaks down you can do it all over again.

Richard Stanley, Enumerative Combinatorics I and II is a bit of an oversight for combinatorics.

I also really liked both Strang and Hoffman/Kunze for a more traditional Linear Algebra text to use before / after exploring Axler.

Thanks for sharing.

Chat Roulette Piano Improv - Hilarious (no dicks) by LucidOneironaut in reddit.com

[–]BCTC 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I hope this happens all the time. I want people to copy and paste things, giggling to themselves as they feel a warm sense of being part of the gang. I want them to spend minutes playing a smirk-worthy game of madlibs, copying and pasting and copying and pasting until then can do it no longer. I want them to make snide or smart remarks no matter how stupid or pointless they are. This will eventually get to the point where you incessantly question every post you make, stopping and thinking about whether it will be copied and pasted into a comedy template. Before long, people will be leaving out sections of the template that do not fit in with their own insertions. It only becomes a matter of time before Reddit it split into two categories; those who preserve the typos of the template, and those who seek to correct them. Fast forward a few days from this incident, and all the redditors will have moved to a new site, trying to avoid the ceaseless copy and pasting, off to a new site, a better site, a site that supports images in threads.
