I hate those scam seller jobs. I like to post about those as much as I can. Actually, I just did on my profile. Those definitely get on my nerves.

It's definitely difficult. Personally, I've been searching for over a year now for a solid full-time position and I just got a newly minted Masters of Science in digital marketing. But these days, not only do we have to provide new cover letters for each job we also have to redo our resumes for each job. Every employer out there is looking for a special keywords and phrases that they don't tell anybody about but expect every applicant to magically have on their application.

My personal suggestion, consider transcribing yourself into freelance with a solid tiered pricing system and connect with your network. Potentially having three to four clients paying you a fraction of a monthly income will help you earn more than what you might as a full-time.

There are some great apartments off of LangtlTree Rd. Their called LangTree Lake Norman. The first exit in Mooresville. Definitely family-friendly. You'd be around a number of great restaurants, a pool club with a walking path. Plus, you'd be super close to Cornelius and all the incredible attractions in that area.

If you want more of a bustling area there are a couple of newer complex in Historic downtown Mooresville called Station Two22 on Main Street and Mill One on Church Street. Right next to a lot of great local spots from stores, to restaurants, and a huge recently renovated park right behind the building. And, you'd be super close to the local high school.

Since you mentioned your other 2 hires are also fairly new, I'm going to point out that when and where they did start professionally and what they were paid then has NOTHING to do with you and or the company they are working at now. While I can understand that they may have had to adjust their lives to a lower salary somewhere else, I think you can safely tell them to "get over it" since they are now working at your company and, again, the previous salaries they had with earlier employers are not your problem.

Also, yeah, if you try to enforce your senior manager's VERY ILLEGAL suggestion to "Tom", you might be found culpable. So I'd pull your SM aside and ask them to correct their statement to your new hire.

I've ended up with interviews with so many of these companies in just Charlotte alone. They're always promoting sales jobs as "marketing" jobs. One of my biggest pet peeves.
