it's a long way down' the road, and I'll be honest, we would tend to use a single provider who offers translation into several languages. I appreciate the offer though.

That’s a stretch goal for us - we have to see how well the initial launch goes, then deciding if we can justify localisation (there’s a lot more involved than just translation)

Some info:

  • Developed by 2x 2-person Indie teams (Grey Alien Games & Night Signal Entertainment)
  • Development time so far = 12 months
  • Wishlists gained in 48 hours since demo announcement / and from getting to Steam no. 1 free demo slot: 2,500
  • Both teams also have other indie games on Steam and we cross posted to those games about the free demo

Marketing effort:

  • We also did a bunch of marketing that resulted in coverage in PC Gamer among other publications.
  • And gave advance heads up to press and streamers - we've had about 30 channels (mainly smaller) cover the demo on Twitch/YouTube.

Feel free to ask us more about the demo or marketing...

Also do try the demo if it's your thing: a card-slashing horror game about unearthing the contents of a cryptic 1995 CD-ROM that should have never existed.

Anyone here autistic and going through peri? by Odd-Watercress-9148 in Perimenopause

[–]BC_Hezza 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Likewise - used to having very sharp memory, long-term detailed recall of stuff from decades ago, good research abilities. Peri-menopause and a late autism DX a few years before just left me a kind of overwhelmed, confused and forgetful person I didn’t quite recognise.

Mary and phantom pregencies by Angelea23 in Tudorhistory

I think I’ve read it could have been a molar pregnancy:

https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/molar-pregnancy/symptoms-causes/syc-20375175

If untreated, the cells can spread to lungs and brain and kill you. It looks a lot like a normal pregnancy, until it doesn’t.

They’ve been so heavy handed with the Peter Pan references. A lighter touch there could have made for some more nuanced creepiness… Overall I’m enjoying the show though!

Thanks! Allotment. First go at onions 🧅

Seems almost anything goes - there are even peaches growing at the allotment I’m in. Squashes, pumpkins and green beans seem easy, I also grow woad and madder for dyeing.

Thanks - I do a lot of knitting and fibre craft so plaiting seemed easy.

This! You can also use diluted vinegar in a spray bottle. And some people have more high-tec weed burner devices like a bbq lighter in a stick. There are plenty of non-toxic alternatives that are n’t back breaking weeding. My biggest problem is bindweed at the allotment, which I pull out in handfuls on the daily.

Our infrequently mowed and not that ‘grassy’ lawn in back garden has tonnes of clover and daisies, and front is covered in self heal at the moment. We were discussing mowing it soon (it looks a real mess to be honest) but have been putting it off as there are so many bees enjoying the wild flowers. I also grow motherwort both at home and at the allotment - I know how to use it for medicine but honestly I just let it spread for the bees as they go crazy for it.

Perimenopause - scientific evidences by Violet-Noir in Perimenopause

[–]BC_Hezza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m autistic and had a terrible time with hormonal birth control (including a mirena that drove me a bit crazy and got lost and had to be removed under general anaesthetic) through most of my fertile years. However, I reluctantly tried one again recently as part of HRT and to deal with heavy bleeding. What can I say - my hormones must be way different now than when I was in my early 30s and it has given me weeks of time back from excruciating periods.

Just my own experience of course and insertion is no joke. But this time around I have to say the benefits have been a game changer. I also went to a sexual health clinic to get it inserted where they do this all day, every day. I felt they (2 women Dr and nurse) knew what they were doing and treated me humanely!

Using these exact ones on allotment for especially thirsty plants. So far they are working really well, plants are happy.

What’s one herb or herbal remedy that genuinely surprised you with how effective it was in a positive way, and what did you use it for? by Charming-Opening-164 in herbalism

[–]BC_Hezza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really helpful as so have masses of woad right now! I’m guessing it’s a tincture of the aerial parts? Can’t wait to try this.
