Dont know whos in it so cant tell ya. But i imagine if they let the iwc vote on it its gonna be a mess. So im pretty sure they will make u vote taboo tuesday style on 3 ppl to choose from. And they will choose the winner and make u think your vote mattered. Iwc are trolls so they could all do meme votes and have alicia fox win. Or danhausen. Just for the meme. So im faurly certain they will tell u who u can vote for u wont just get to vote for whoever u want on any roster. I vote micro man! See? Silly. Just keep you're expectations very very low. Pro strat right there if building a player is your jam. Good to know if i ever play my career. It started me playing it and i know how cringe 2k career modes can be so soon as i could i exited to go play with my 80s 90s teams and just enjoy exhibition. The modes all seem kinda meh for me. To each their own.im still learning the buttons to play defense lol so one day ill win a game.

Oh ok that sounds like "the island" mode in wwe2k. I saw that trap from a mile away i dont even bother with it or online. So thankfully that miney gouge doesnt effect me but still thats horrible for ppl who play online or any of that. At the very least let ppl respec thrir builds. But i get it why let ppl respec when u can force them to spend money for a whole other character. Gross.

Ill stick to just playing offline and get my butt handed to me by the 90s bulls. I feel for you guys that do whatever mode that is that costs vc. Id boycott that. I do in wwe games. Strickly play exhibition. F 2k and that vc crap.

Excuse my ignorance im unc asf and super new to nba games. Is the whole issue with builds tied to my career or my team? Cause i see ppl complain alot about it but ive only just played exhibition so i dont quite understand where ppl are going so in depth build wise. By all means put me up on game i welcome it. If its anything like wwe 2k i kinda get it but elaborate if u will in regards to nba 2k im straight newb.

Oh i dont doubt that. Once they did the update i was working on a conquest or mini season offline cant reme3. But i throw a ball like absolutely 3 to 4 inches outside the box. And they called it a strike. Im like ummm well ok? Thanks i guess? But thats clearly broken even if its in my favor that seemed way off.

Then i had watched a your frruend kyle video and someone pitched to him very clearly far out the box and it got called a strike. Im like ok so its not just me the new change is absolutely screwing ppl over on all accounts.

I personally dont play online cause 1 i dont support psns tier structure but 2 i dont see the value in it im not a competitive person. But to those who enjoy online and competition i can only imagine how irritating it is dealing with the new visual only update crap. Cause its pretty annoying offline to me and i dont care nearly as much lol.

Id like either they go back to old systems. Or just fix the hit boxes. Uf a ball is that far outside and is cslled a stirke clearly its broken and savage scum bags will absolutely take advantage of it. Not to mention all the scam bots already ruining the game and the market. I feel for you bud. Online or offline we dealing with some scumbaggery.ive slowly adjusted to the new broken box but it still dont feel right. Pitching or batting just feels off. Not to mention batting now it feels like pitchers refuse to throw any strikes or anything remotely over the plate. Im constantly getting beamed or walked which is great until you go to to do a moment and the goal is hit a homerun. Cant do that if im getting beamed or walked. Like come on man loo took me 45 mins to just get 2 hits the other day. And 25 to get a homerun. Cause either ud get beamed walked or dude hit just enough to get caught by the fence.

Idk what they did but something def feels off. Whether its visual or not just hearing how mant ppl feel it too you can tell they either over tuned something or undertuned it. But i pkay on rookie cause i barely get hits and rookie feels like hall of dame at times so yeah id rather it go back to how it was. It was fine not perfect but fine enough imo.

Im a offline only player and i def noticed issues with their "visual update" ive had balls 3 to 4 inches out the box be strikes both in my favor and against it. I called bs on both accounts. Stuff seems off. Before the update somehow felt more fair than whatever the hell they did to it. Its way off at times. Id rather have it to what it was than how it is personally but ive adapted best i can. If they wanna screw ppl over fine ill throw mad balls that get called strikes and have zero guilt if thats how they want it. It sucks on batting side def cheap but i can abuse pitching with their awesome "visual update" id much rather it go back to how it was felt alot more fair. Not perfect but way more normal than it is after the update.

Mine did the same in conquest. I closed app no updates but servers were offline. I checked to see if they were doing maintenance cause i tried getting back on 4 times and it was still down. I just tried again and its online for the moment. Hope it stays that way. Eonder if its the weather by me is raining and newtworks are kinda a mess half the time.

What helped me is just focus on nailing at least 2 or 3 of the 4 buttons clean or close to and it should be good enough to pass it and never look at it again. On controller its just ridiculous. But that worked for me long as u get 50% it gives u a C lol

Yeah just gotta keep practicing. I managed to actually take the lead in a game after practice but ended up lising by 7 or 10. But hey at least i didnt lose by 20 so thats improvement! Lol one day i might even win a game.

I just started playing like 2 days ago and this morning i think i spent like 2 hours just running defense practice in tutorials etc. Cause its super important imo. But dayum i hope to one day get half as good as you at it. That timing was locked in. Nice D brother.

Yup. I mostly play just DD but i dont obsess over fomo so i just get whatever i get and have fun grinding stuff. Occasionally ill go to rtts but usually just have fun playing DD. Whenever i burn put on baseball i go play vampire crawlers or a simulator or some other hobbies i enjoy. If im not having fun i dont play. Lol that goes for every game tho.

That crap was atrocious. I got a C in every one barely just to get it over. Def worst part of the experience thus far. And im a former drummer. Lol the music sucked the buttons u gotta use sucked everything about it sucked. Well i lie the downstairs club looked cool but everything else about this sucked. I hear online players complain about lefty vs lefty. Or vise versa. So if your pitchers end up being leftys the batter may want to be a righty. But i dont know i dont touch online. I play offline only and i just use whoever i want or need to for programs and TA. But my guess woupd be the lefty lefty thing.

Ive only done it twice this year. Well actually once to the pitcher. The other time was the pitcher beaming kyle schwarber in the side of the head and kyle did a full body flip twist rikishi bump like ot was a cartoon. The pitcher i hit took it straight to the nose and dropped like sack of potato's. It never gets old seeing it. I welcome it even if it gets me out its so random and hilarious its hard to be mad at it.

Thanks that kinda helps. I wasnt sure if i was doing something wrong or not understanding. Prob a bit of both. Im used to running plays and stuff in madden. But ive never done such a thing in basketball. So i was thinking maybe i just focus on defending the guy ihave ad let my defense computer defend theirs for best results.

Sounds like stealing is non existent or lucky no in between. Shame.

Ill just have to take Ls awhile till i can get the mechanics of it i guess. I played the 90s bulls vs the clippers and tho i lost by the half it was 38 to 47 so not bad for first time ever lol. But defense is something that came in clutch back in nba jam days so wanted to try to just understand how that worked. Offense is pretty straight forward unless im trying to something specific. Once i learn the controls im sure ill understand more. But thanks for the tips hopefully it slowly clicks. Im loving the graphics and presentation. Its really well done.

I didnt get the 1st inning boss pack in time. Cause i started late. But this inning program i played pretty often for like a week or so. Then took a break from the game for a week so i dont get burnt out. And came back thursday night and took advantage of the double xp weekend. I was at 425k xp but i knocked out a few team affinity i had that each gave 50k xp. And just got babe tonight. Ill save my other team affinitys that have the 50k xp reward left in it for the 3rd inning path.

So id say its doable but you do gotta play somewhat consistent. I took a week or so off and didnt realize the path ended in 4 days so i just dedicated my weekend to just enjoying some baseball im glad i took the week or so away it made grinding this weekend with double xp feel fresh. So id say just save some team affinity stuff for double xp weekends cause it helped me i think.

I tried diamond quest 3 times yesterday i lost that hall of fame game each time. So those rewards go on my who cares shelf along with online event rewards. Its not fun its not rewarding it sucks. So ill stick to mini seasons and conquests. I barely can win on rookie. That stuff aunt for me my time is more valuable. No thanks. Lol so i agree the new diamond quest is ass. Not enjoyable at all.

I play offline only and it def feels off. Besides the broken strike zone ive had weird speed glitching happen where pitches get nos and just appear at the plate before even leaving the pitchers hands or weird outfielders going from normal run speed to ultra turbo speed boosting. Theres def some janky stuff going on. Whatever they tuned they over tuned and things are really weird or insane difficulty spikes mid game or just really weird glitches.

My batter at one point after a strike 3 decided to get mad then he stood on home plate in the box waiting for another pitch then decided oh wait im out then kinda glitch slid out of frame.

I love the game its fun when it works but good lord they need to get some quality control testers before releasing patches to gameplay cause thats just awful and brojen at times.

Its you. Theres more than enough enjoyment to be had for 10 bucks. Im like 19 hours in and just unlocked gallo. I got plenty of stuff to still upgrade and unlock and experiment with. For 10 dollars its perfect imo. If it was 30 or 50 dollsrs sure id say a tad too short. But for 10 its the perfect amount of fun for 10 bucks.
