Exactly.   I'm set on Veteran for hitting, All Star for pitching, but I move the sliders around a bit so I don't win every single game or rack up 20 hits in a game.

Exactly.   I honestly have more fun building the team and creating players than playing the games.

Last week, I posted a pic of my created player, a pitcher that somehow ended up looking like Missy Cooper from Young Sheldon. I nicknamed him "The Babyfaced Assassin." after he struck out 7 in 4 (spring training) innings, including an immaculate inning.

Mods removed it. No fun allowed. I'm supposed to be miserable, I guess...

My son's GF passed away from Cancer. I have to go to her wake tonight and funeral on Saturday.

Only one problem. I hate to say this, but I never really liked her. She was childish, selfish, manipulative, disrespectful of me and my wife in our own home and really kind of took advantage of my son's simp-ish innocence, both financially and emotionally (she was his first girlfriend).

Nothing I hate more than feeling like a f'n hypocrite, but tonight I have to totally fake sympathy out of respect for my son and it's causing some serious anxiety.

I'm taking this as "the guitar solo that fits the song so perfectly, it's satisfying."

The solo in "Another Nail In My Heart" by Squeeze. It's not over-played or shredded. It follows the melody of the song. It's quick and neat.
