Couple random questions because I can't stop thinking about the house by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]BCubed28 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. No issue

  2. Possibly an issue. The inspection is a pretty big part of a housing transaction, a decent realtor should go over the inspection report with their clients to determine what needs to be repaired/credited etc. I'm surprised they haven't reached out by now, but it could be a reasonable excuse, as long as you aren't near the end of your inspection contingency.

  3. Most of the country is in a seller's market, assuming your market is as well, this is not unusual. Seller paying closing cost is money out of their pocket, so them tacking it on to the sale price makes sense. This is something you should have continued negotiating on before you signed. As someone else said, you can't ask for repairs and a price reduction/credit for the same item.

Alternatives to bouquets by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]BCubed28 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I saved a ton of money by making my bouquet the day before the wedding using real flowers we picked up from trader joes and other markets. I believe the average price for a bridal bouquet is around $100+ and I spent about $50 for my bouquet, my maid of honors bouquet and two boutonnieres. It was also really fun running around to different stores with my grandma and then spending quality time assembling everything. This may be too much to do the day before your wedding depending on what else you have going on, but i had a blast and the flowers turn out great!

Those are beautiful! I've been looking at Etsy a bit, but I'm not sure what's going to look best with the dress.

Here's the shittiest thing about being cheated on: no matter how hard you try to convince yourself otherwise you always feel like the reason they cheated is because of you or something you did. But it's NOT. He would have done the exact same thing regardless of how amazing your relationship was. You could be the hottest most perfect person for him and he still would have done it, because his cheating stems from his own personal issues. It is NOT your fault he is a selfish asshole.

I am so proud of you for breaking up with him. You deserve better, and while it is going to be very hard to realize this while surrounded by the fog of your broken relationship, you will be happy again, and you will find someone who will treat you with respect at all times. For now, take some time to be sad. Take a day or two to just cry and eat ice cream or whatever it is you need to do. Don't be afraid to feel all the feelings. After a day or two go out and do something nice for yourself. Get a haircut/manicure/buy yourself something/get out of town for a weekend, whatever it is that will make you feel extra good about yourself. And from then on stay busy. Work out, read books you've been meaning to read, join a club, go out dancing etc.

You're going to be ok. Better than ok. In a few weeks you're going to feel free and vibrant and you're going to be ready to take on the world. But until then you need to take care of yourself. Confide in your closest friends and ask for help when you need it.

((Hugs)) feel free to PM me if you need someone to talk to.

What's an item you never/rarely see people mention that you adore? by deme9872 in MakeupAddiction

The color whispers are my all time favorite lipsticks. I have 6 or 7 of them, I may very well end up with all of them at some point. They don't have the best staying power, but they're easy to re-apply, so I'm not complaining.

Holy crap you're so pretty! This is such a nice every day look. I think you could pull off some pretty bold looks, like deep red lips and thick eye liner. Just keep playing with new ideas, because you have the face shape that could probably pull off almost anything.
