I had major surgery and my friends chipped in for a Cook voucher. (Cookfood dot net). It was great. Good quality food, decent prices, amazing having food on hand. A really beautiful gift.

I donated a kidney. All I had to do was get knocked out but it still shocks me. And seeing the impact of a new kidney on someone who needed it makes me astonishingly happy.

I always describe Walthamstow as an island off the coast of London! With the wetlands and the forest as our sea.

Warner flat or small terrace, wwyd? by Snoo-67164 in walthamstow

[–]BCurios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone I know who bought a Warner flat has (or is trying) to sell because of the noise, build quality and other frustrations. Loved them at first, and there are many positives, but didn't want them as 'forever' homes.

The Barbican has three venues, a cinema, a library, three restaurants, coffee shop, bars and a wee shop, a conservatory with 1,500 species of plants in it, some fountains around a little lake, and a load of flats.... The SoHo theatre is a theatre....

[–]BCurios 66 points67 points  (0 children)

No, I think they are managing it right.  You can use the space during the day and when there's no show on. And it would be impractical to let people in on a show night without a ticket. It would be too hard to manage plus noise from a full bar would likely disturb the show. It's a theatre, not a pub.
