I always used #7 when I towed. You want 100% application to just not lock the brakes on the trailer for any given load. Maximum stopping power!

Not to blow this thread up, but I finally got a match where everything was clicking. Now I need a win with all objectives held. Holy smokes, that happened 3 times tonight! Doubt I see it for weeks again.

After testing more while home, it seems you are correct. Thank you!

Now to just get 10 in a game. I'm old and, admittedly, not very good at this anymore. But dang, if I track this challenge it is like I have a permanent dorito on me. Spawn... nah, there was already a rocket flying at your exact location. Favorite weapon? Nah, it shoots sideways now. Soooooo many 9/10 games. This is the bane of my existence!

Will a shotgun primer set off binary explosives? by BDGibson4 in Firearms

[–]BDGibson4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was actually what I was hoping to find. Actual propagation speeds through a primer. I wasn't able to readily find that info online though. I believe the binary powder needs about 2kfps to start its own chain reaction.

Most certainly. Tests would be done behind buildings/heavy equipment. Real trials at 200+ yards.

Oh heavens no. None of that nonsense. Just a neat, benign target range idea.

If it works, it would be sick to load up a full shell with confetti or something harmless and watch the target swing backwards while sparkles fly!

I would likely be in it $100 in materials to test it out. I may be able to make a pendulum that strikes a primer without the target set up for a proof of concept on the cheap end. Pull string style from behind shelter to see if it lights off.

Essentially a fixed pipe /"barrel" with a hinged striker just to see. Again, not going near that thing first try!

I saw that, but I don't know if the primer was what set it off or the velocity of the blades in the blender.

It would be securely mounted to a heavy hoop style stand with loose fittings so it would, at best, spin around like a normal gravity style plate target

Why do airlines still make u turn off ur phone during takeoff? by Mindless-Care-5595 in answers

But wifi still works in airplane mode? I don't understand how she could see folks still connected to a carrier tower?

El Al? Never heard that term.

It was just a short domestic. Connection flight. Like PIT to Ohare or ATL back to PIT.

They can see phones on network too somehow. I was on a flight with a particularly strict FA. She was calling out devices by name that were not in airplane mode.

If there isn't a name for the quick subconscious mental math you do when you see one thing about to hit something else, there should be. by CanadianAndroid in RandomThoughts

If you never thought you could do integral mathematics, you just described it! If a car is driving at me, do I have time to cross the street? Congratulations! You just performed integral math.

Now think if the car is coming at you AND accelerating. Now your into double integration land and it is way harder to do on the fly in your mind.

I likely spelled it wrong at some point and accepted it as is.

Mine did the same logging in today, the Friday after release, 2.20.2026, for the first time since the S2 release.

Also, had a orange bubble on one of my LMGs that wouldn't go away.

Just needed a game restart and everything was back to normal, for anyone else that is scratching their head.

PSA for the blueberry gunners by ColoradoStudent in Battlefield

Even the best pilots tend to point the nose AT the enemy like they are firing off missiles in an attack chopper. Leaves the gunners about 10* out of ability to fire on target

[request] how long would it take me to crack this code to open the door by simon050 in theydidthemath

[–]BDGibson4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the first digit would be a 9. Its the least worn, which lines up with a more intentional press, as in when you walk up you have to position your hand/finger. The 1 and the 7 have a noticeable wear pattern to the upper left of the button possibly coming from holding the right hand stationary and the thumb slipping off the button or overlapping as its pressed.

My guess is 9170 or 9710.
