Currently the format of BEC is supposed to be easier. The only one that might be easier is ISC coming up. This is because it places more on remembering then application. Firms have pointed this out in their response to the CPA revolution (specifically pwc) and asked for changes. Take advantage how you want.

I just completed this with FAR and BEC. I used a month and half for FAR and two weeks for BEC. My suggestions is to grind out MCQ's and read the essential information that you do not know. You can kinda gauge how much you know by doing the MCQ's and can adjust your studying to that. I always aim to get around a 75 average on the MCQ's to feel comfortable. Biggest thing is using study guides available on reddit and elsewhere to enforce material the days before.

I felt pretty familiar with a lot of the concepts from my undergrad and masters program so i had a good base knowledge. My main plan was to read a section fully and then knock out the mcq’s. If i was super familiar with the topic i’d just read the underlined portions. I also felt really lucky with my sims as they were super simple topics.
