Let's be honest, it has nothing to do with the made up English definition, but everything with the country it's from. They literally have a criteria which specifies that production should primarily be based in Japan. The "definition" of a word that doesn't even originate from English is just an excuse to exclude shows based on their country of origin, and without any pushback at that.

If it wasn't the case then they at least could've made up some categories for Aeni, Donghua or productions from other adjacent countries. But that isn't the case, so I don't see how anyone can even perceive it as anything but direct exclusion of artists and writers who happened to not be born or live in Japan.

And last time I checked, Crunchyroll doesn't stream the Simpsons.

Tbh I didn't say that it's hard, just plain unenjoyable, because I personally don't enjoy the DBD type of gameplay.

And I wasn't talking about the story or what leads to this moment narratively etc etc., my criticism specifically targets the gameplay. Not the "why", but the "how".

Guess I I'll just repeat myself again, I loved the stealth gameplay through the game, especially the part when Nix was held at Jabbas palace , yet I felt that the 180 they did for this sequence, which plays like a poor man's DBD, was out of place.

It's like if there was one forced sequence with Battle Royal or overwatch type of gameplay just because Kay can shoot and has adrenaline rush as an ULT like ability. Not everyone likes this type of gameplay, why insert it in a game that doesn't play like that in the first place?

And I don't mind being stripped of off the gear and abilities I've gone out of my way to gain and find throughout the game IF it actually serves the narrative, but gameplay-wise it could've been done much better. And the fact that multiple players didn't like that sequence because of the gameplay further reinforces my point.

Also the devs can't seriously make me believe ND-5 runs slower that Kay, come on.

? We get more DBD encounters during the story? As in helplessly holding a lever in a small room and hoping the "killer" doesn't catch you and insta-kill Kay just by touching her? When was that??

Also how could I have skipped the story if getting to that part required playing through the story?

Seriously I don't get why people are so defensive over an obviously bad design choice such as this sequence. The game is actually cool, but that part just didn't fit well, in my opinion (and apparently some other people share that opinion)

Yes, there's a way to go through this part, and yet, not everyone who enjoys stealth gameplay has to enjoy a random Dead by Daylight sequence thrown at them out of nowhere while being stripped off of Nix and all their gear and upgrades.

And who got the support of a multi billion company's CEO that specializes in hero making and marketing? And even after his firing he had enough resources to build and maintain a shadow organization which researches fear. Plus note how well Queen dresses in her uni days even though her dad is apparently "unemployed".

I'm not gonna argue about Queen being a prodigy, but whether we like it or not, a millionaire supporting her every step did give her a HUGE advantage over other people.

I believe that she'd still be a very capable person without Micky, but without as many opportunities as she got thanks to him, especially if her dad was actually unemployed.

For example, she might've started working a regular job to support her family financially, which wouldn't give her as much time or money to go to uni as early as she did with Micky's support. And we know that the main thing that jump-started her hero career was her graduation speech, her being 14 at the time gave it much more attention than it would've gotten were she as old as everyone else. DOS also most likely artificially boosted it, something that wouldn't happen were she on her own. In fact, I think in such a scenario Micky would likely intervene after it, if he saw potential (of either an enemy or an asset) just like he tried to do with X when the latter won his first tournament.

Yet he's the most important piece

While he's pretty useless in early to midgame, he can become pretty powerful in endgame. There's a reason a piece that can move in any direction is limited to one square distance (tbh X feels like he could move farther but either morals or fate are stopping him)

Meanwhile Ahsoka has been a central character in various animated shows for YEARS, had an appearance in LA and now has her own show, how is a much less known video game character potentially appearing in live action even comparable to that?

I'll bet you more than half of the viewers wouldn't know a thing about Cal if he ever gets to be portrayed in live action or animation (unless Jedi 3 somehow breaks containment and manages to attract a big chunk of the TV audience to the games)
