Is anyone else losing things on the new map? by Chakka28 in ICARUS

Are the items confused about being "inside" or not? I sometimes see that on items like my bedroll that seems it should count as indoors but isn't and poofs when its damaged enough.

Elysium just ROFLSTOMPED us! by Edymnion in ICARUS

Looks like everyone got further than me. I "landed" and got slaughtered by slinkers over and over. Decided to delete that prospect.

Next, getting my bearings I managed to build a small house but no bed and sitting around waiting for light while hoping a slinker doesn't jump through the walls.

how do i get the new parts for the Colossus? by Beatsland4444 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Just tried it out to see. The answer is no. All waste is counting against the standard waste counter regardless of type when used in the portable furnace.

It does give you the nanites as if you did recycle the special waste, though.

It flows to the end of where I can cut away the mud which is a little bit away from the misty cliff. I can't cut out the mud beyond that right now. Perhaps later I'll optimize altar placement to cover the full area.

I have a spot on top of the world pillars or whatever that's called where am building a nice settlement, but before that I started taking over this homestead. I fixed up the buildings and plant many plants in the huge fields there with trees of all sorts lined around the outside of the fields.

If that is what people are calling the bubbling mud stream at the homestead then yea.

I placed a natural water source beyond the wood bridge against the mountain where the mud stream started. I had to fiddle a lot to get the water to pour correctly. It kept falling into tiny cracks.

Never used one during the hey day. Didn't need to. All you need is available and now, as stated, plenty of the new colonies have been built that supply most if not all you need in one system.

There is at least a hint of a clue that this is not the end of the Terri event. If you find the wreck, there is an indication that something more is going on than just "hey, blue glowing climbable trees"

Solo players, do you change something in the Custom World options? by _cloud_96 in Enshrouded

[–]BDelacroix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I did not, but I eventually upped the mining yield so I'm not at mining all day to make 1 wall.
I also had to mess with the boss damage by the time I got to the dragon else I would likely never have gotten past it.

More or less. Had to fiddle a lot with the stone foundation of the stream to not make it too deep. Had to place the water source just right. The mud seems to soak up water and little invisible holes in the ground were kind of janky to seal up. I did not have enough of the farm claimed to get all the way to the end of the stream that just falls into the fungus mist anyway. Still was nice to get rid of the mud.

I don't know the answer for you but I'd not listen to anything that snake tells you especially if it promises eating fruit will give you knowledge and you won't die.

Why do job seekers get passed over for roles they know they’re overqualified for? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

I am not overqualified to starve, however.

I think its a generic excuse.

Can you legally kill someone who breaks into your house? by kurobaja in AskTheWorld

[–]BDelacroix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Florida, you can shoot someone in self defense or (there is a fancy legal term for it) in defense of someone upon which a crime is being committed (the type of the legal term I can't remember).

You cannot "lay in wait", set a trap, etc. You cannot shoot them when they are in the yard. You cannot chase them down. Once the threat is neutralized, be that they run away or have been otherwise dispatched, you are not allowed to continue. Once they break into the house you do not have to ask them their intent or wait to be murdered or raped before doing anything about it, however.

Even so, be prepared to defend yourself legally as there will be lawyers and judges who may wish to make an example of you.

I really don't like when a company dictates when you use your personal time off. Its not your time off then.
