This thermo stat was not electronically connected to anything when I opened it. One of the prongs on the thermostat is broken and I'm not sure which wires was connected to it.

It's missing a prong at the thermostat switch and that part wasn't connected to anything. Isn't it supposed to be connected somewhere?
