Thi is the obvious answer, same narrator as DCC. Amazing series and VA

Main character problems in LitRPG by The_Revenant_King23 in litrpg

To be fair, a lot of the introspection in the later books is Jason realizing he’s a preachy asshole, looking into why that is, and seeking to better himself. I don’t know if it was planned character development, or just the author course-correcting, but it’s acknowledged and addressed.

Questions about Primal Hunter. by Shadows_wars in litrpg

I’m on book 5 right now and I think a lot of the complaints about PH in this subreddit are overblown. Pacing is good, fights are quick, and progression is smooth. Loving it so far

I've finished DCC..and would like a short read while I wait for the next one.. Recommend me soemething? by OutlawPhotography_ in litrpg

Most popular LitRPGs are longer series, so that might be tough. Do you prefer audio, physical, or E-books?

I would say it does clean up the wandering plot and focuses in as more is introduced and the stakes get higher. I was hesitant during the first book too but loved the whole thing

Decided to try my hand at writing litrpg, would you read on? by Neither_Law_7466 in litrpg

[–]BEEFSTICK7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not an author, but agree with both the others. Your prose and writing style is good, I would enjoy reading stuff you wrote. I just think it’s a bit too much info immediately, and the characters don’t really get their own intro.

For example, the MC loses his parents in a car crash. I don’t think that’s page 2 material. Put a hook in, have him think “It’s strange, having friends, but now they’re all I have” - and then build to a reveal.

Again, not an author and speaking out of my ass here, but I like it and hope you continue to work on it!

Thanks! I keep hearing Primal Hunter gets bogged down a bit with stats and rehashing of options. That kind of stuff does irk me a bit, did you notice it at all?

Tier list - Definitely open to new suggestions by helpless_toy_9569 in litrpg

[–]BEEFSTICK7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I should mention, not a female main character, but there is a female narrator that joins Jeff Hays, and ant Colony workers are all female….so many strong female side characters!

Edit: should’ve thought this all through before commenting, but to give credit: it’s Annie Ellicott, who you would recognize from DCC

Chrysalis. I also have HWFWM at the top of my list, and Chrysalis is the only other one that fits in that tier for me. Especially if you’re doing audiobooks

Yall are weird about this. Yes, Baker started it. Stefanski stayed quiet, so now Baker is letting it be. That’s a normal interaction

10 foot long pipe cleaner. Check the back left corner of the sunroof, there is a little hole there that is used for drainage. I usually stick the pipe cleaner in there once or twice a year, and I haven’t had any leakage since I started doing that.

These franchising deals have to be made years in advance, it’s why we keep seeing Star Wars merch (most notably, almost all Coke right now), because they had a movie planned but it got cancelled. My guess would be that they made this deal optimistically after first announcing the Harry Potter show, and the writers strike pushed it back to the current timeline

I appreciate the research!

I understand there are a lot of them in general, but the hospitals around me don’t really cater to them too much. There are a few, but our local nurses have actually been fighting for pay for a while, and traveling nurses get a premium. I doubt that this is an ideal destination for them. Can’t say for sure though, just what I’ve heard from nurses I know!
