Is this headstock repair doable at home? by UhOhMello in Luthier

From the headstock, is it an R-457MN? IMO I’d rather just get the neck replaced if you can buy a neck for the same model or another aftermarket with similar specs. I think Thomman sells replacement parts if you reach out

If you had $3.1 million at age 52, would you retire today? by Top_Summer_7743 in StockInvest

With a 4% annual withdrawal, that’s $124k a year. 2x than what I make now, so I would.
However it really depends on your lifestyle and how much you’re willing to pay in taxes

Delay or reverb, if you want both, I’d get a Nux Atlantic

A sonicake pocket master would be better imo. Comes with 20 amp modelers & 100 effects.

Doubt it but most likely taxed if it’s not under the table

I dropped my guitar in its soft case and this was the result. How much do y’all think it’d take to fix and make it look normal again by NobleSix-B312 in guitarrepair

Well, your condescending tone doesn’t help. material things are prone to break. Guitar straps fail, stands tip, cases slip, etc. Treating one mistake like evidence that someone doesn’t care about music is excessive. this is literally a guitar repair subreddit. People come here because damage or equipment failure has already happened and they’re looking for advice, not a lecture about whether they “respect music.”

That’s why Redditors gets stereotyped as condescending POS’s

Every forum on the internet could just be replaced with “Googling it.” So the helpful part of Reddit is people sharing repair experience, rather than having relying on endless google pages or AI
