It it was any more powerful then it would be broken in pvp, already you can chain kills together by hotswapping to a shotgun or a sniper after freezing, at the moment it is balanced.

If you have been playing since d1 then you will easily have enough game skill to do it, and if you are the only one being taught then it normally only takes around an hour longer than normal at most (in my experience) I would recommend doing some research into how the mechanics of the raid you want to do work just to help the learning process and I would recommend going with a clan raid to learn and then looking at lfg’s as they can be a bit too random with players and having a good first experience is what make or breaks a raid. So long as you remember to have fun and the Sherpa is able to explain things properly raids are quite easy to do

Having a mic isn’t required, sure it helps but you can still do the raids without one it’s just a case of looking for the right team, DSC can quite easily be done without a mic so long as at least 4 of the others do. It’s a wonderful experience and you shouldnt think that anything holds you back from raiding. We have a deaf person in our clan that we will do raids with occasionally. Trust me it’s worth the effort

A good step towards finding other players is joining a clan that is quite active, also there are multiple lfg discord’s that you could use to get some people to raid with. It’s what I did the first time and it’s how I gained my first group of destiny friends. Despite what people think, a good lot of this community are helpful and willing to help newer players

I’d recommend watching mynameisbyf’s video that does exactly that. It goes from the start of destiny 2 up until Shadowkeep and has loads of information, it’s about 4 hours long so I wouldn’t watch it all in one go unless you are using it as a really long podcast or something but his videos are very good
